In anticipation of what i hope to be plenty of visitors during the upcoming 4:20 celebrations, I was over the road talking to my friends at the Roor shop today and have arranged to borrow one of their new vaporizer set ups as well as a number of their custom hire bongs for the week around the 20th.
Hope you'll come and enjoy them. :)

After arriving on Friday morning, 30 March, I met jwall at the airport and we took the train into Centraal Station together and then after getting our luggage situated, we stopped at Utopia and met Ingi and she was super-helpful and very happy to show me the various weeds she had available for sale.

I had smoked a variety of weeds in euro-styled joints (mixed with tobacco) by the end of the day, but I most enjoyed the pure sativa Citronella from Utopia which was my 1st purchase and 1st toke of the day after arriving.

Nice shop, nice location, friendly staff, excellent gear (even if it is a little pricey)... I recommend Coffeeshop Utopia.

I got into town to early to have my first smoke at Voyager's so I headed here. Ingi and Nel weren't working, but a very nice gentleman took care of me.

I like the vibe of the shop and the view.

The citronella is dry, which was no surprise, as Nel warned us about it here as did the dealer. It was not too dry though to smoke nicely in a pure joint, just probably past it's peak. Fresh citrus flavor. Creeping euphoric happy high.

The Bubba Kush was stoney (love those high CBD strains) with a rich kushy coffee flavor. I preferred it to the Citronella, because I'm a stoney monkey.

@geeky- sorry I missed you when you were over and cheers for your great reporting. You have a very eloquent writing style and your descriptions are very vivid and apt- I will be borrowing "meaty deliciousness" for sure!
It's not a long stretch to compare a love of weed to a love of fine wine and I think your style reminds me of the better wine journalism out there.
thanks. :)
@ DRA- another one I missed, hope to catch you next time. :)
@Hestia and Stuart and everyone else, looking forward to meeting you, not long now...

I return to Amsterdam on 9 April after spending the weekend out in Almere Haven. I think there is a T&T planned at Utopia during the week I am there so I will definitely attend that function, but I also expect to visit at some point either alone or with my good Swiss friend.

Meeting Ingi was cool and I hope to meet you too during this time. It's a great shop.

Can anyone tell me if Utopia has vaporizers?

I think at one time Nel Z Bub was talking about getting one with the decision coming down to a Volcano or a Verdamper!

They will have a roar vape set-up around 4-20, don't know about permanently.

Thanks, Nel, for the compliment. Sorry that our paths never crossed- this trip was too short! (always) Feel free to use any of my descriptions :)
