So ended up at De Graal yesterday afternoon/evening. This place absolutely reaffirmed itself as my favourite coffeeshop, had some live music on in the evening, really nice mix of locals and tourists (ended up chatting with a brother and sister from London for a couple of hours), amazing vibe, I better get to the bud to stop sounding like a fan boy.

So they had menu with some brand new editions (As this was my last stop, I completely forgot to take a menu picture....) in particular my eye was caught by California Mist. Having read alot about this strain (or at least variants Cali, Kali etc) I thought I would try it. It was so new that when I said it the BT said 'we don't do that' before saying 'oh wait, sorry it has just come in'. It looked very strange. Very wispy, leafy buds (almost didn't look like buds), not covered in trichs like the majority of the bud I find myself consuming in Dam. Smell was......different, not really overpowering like the classic haze sativas, but still quite enticing. Smoked like a real pure Sativa, just like what I imagine Grinspoon or the 100% from Paradox to smoke like (making the trip west to try the 100% is on my to do list). Nice clear high (I think, the Hindu Kush I smoked before bed appears to have clouded my memory somewhat), suprised at the strength considering the look of it. Overall I am not sure whether I would recommend or not, really can't make my mind up on this strain (or maybe from this grower).

Unfortunately by the time I thought to take a picture, I had smoke the majority so the picture does no justice. When I got it, it was as one big chunk (I deliberately avoid using the term bud).

buds growing a bit like the real old old whitewidow but completly diffrent colour , and airier

although it could have been trimmed better...big leaves
maybe could have done a week more , but who knows maybe it's lower buds

but in my 4 visits at graal , everything was dank ,
so this prolly will be too lol

Checked out the Californian Mist as well, was fairly bad, I thought. Really leafy and not much aroma. I'm okay with a bit of leaf but this is far too much. 11 per gram.

Looked at the Candy Kush, which I was very eager to test, but didn't buy.. it looked miserable compared to Voyagers' or Boerejongens' examples

Goldrup was sold out again, and I couldn't find another dry Indica that looked good enough to buy five grams of, which sums up the last four or five visits I made here :/

I agree with everything you say about the California Mist Orle. Low smell, very leafy, but I did think the high was pretty decent, one joint left to sway me one way or the other.

Never bought an indica from De Graal. Always been into Sativa and I must say I have never been disappointed with De Graal. Only possible exceptions being this California Mist (but maybe not), and a friend of a friend bought some Casey Jones that was quite disappointing I think, having said that only think I smoked one joint of it and it wasn't a strong roll (I didn't roll it) by my standards let alone those of the people on here.

Your description on the effect Padge sounds rather like the old school Kali Mist that's one of my favourite ever strains, produces a really clear high that I find rather different from the Haze-dominated sativa strains so common in Amsterdam. Some of the best examples of it I ever smoked really didn't look up to much at all.

Not sure this is exactly the same thing from the name but I'll be over in a fortnight and will definitely check it out if they still have it...

I thought it looked great and smoked really nice. A bit leafy maybe but not like cheapskate or bad, looked pretty sativa old school to me

how is the weed here? obviously their top two hashes are very nice, but how is their weed? and regarding the gardela, orle said that it isn't as strong as it looks, so are any of their hashes really strong except their cream and super cream?

Last Saturday: Had some moroccan 'Gardela'(8,5€/g)which was ok but was not overly impressed with it. 'Pakistan Cream'(12€/g,originally as filed under 'black hash' I wasn`t so sure if they didn`t mean pakistan genetics grown in Morocco and forgot to ask when budtender came up with it and confirming)and 'Golden Fleece'(10€/g)on recommendation which both were excellent.

Asked the female BT about the closure and she said they didn't seem to know exactly whether the closure would go ahead at the start of next year or not, all feeling down about the prospect however =(

the spanish BT told me one week ago that the Lemon Kush is not really this strain but probably Amnesia.
