I agree with you about the special atmosphere of 420 on a weekend evening. I get a similar kind of buzz at the Greenhouse Effect bar next to their coffeeshop on Warmonstraat.

The spread is still much wider than our previous polls. The names at the top are not surprising but interesting to see how some, once popular, shops have no votes yet.

Any cs in the'Dam will sell you gear that will get the average smoker stoned. The once popular shops blinked and believed that they could pump up the prices, offer shit service, average bud and allow 18 yr old chavs to get off their tits while having it large and people would still come and buy. They still do but I would not go there and neither would most members of ACD. Why put up with all that crap when you can visit shops that offer great service, choice weed and a relaxed atmosphere. Its a no brainer really.

Paradox is a god-send for a loner stoner like me. Small bags available so I can try multiply strains. Classical music and very friendly owner. Shame it isn't easier to get to, but then if it was central it might not have the same charm.

Hill Street Markt is a lovely little shop. The edibles nearly wiped out my whole stag party last year. Nice toasties too.

Barneys lounge had the best weed of my last trip (and yes I did try Voyagers and Greyarea)

Amnesia, my first visit to a coffeshop was here, my first purchase was nepal temple balls, I visit on every trip.
Voyagers, just love.
Rusland, good music, good grass, a very friendly bartender.

not for the weed, i grabbed some kosher kush from voyagers then went to funny people and sat there in the nice comfy seats
there weed selection is below standard so only grabbed some funny skunk and the bud tender/owner is very polite

and if you see my other post on twocanucks travelouge i didnt exactly have a great time and didnt get a chance to check other coffeeshops that i would of like to or didn't even sit down in them anyways

Previously may have included Barneys before it turned to shit and the Rokerij on Singel 8, very sad that it has closed but tbh it hasn't been the same since the alcohol licences were revoked from coffeeshops
