Not different 'areas' it has to be different 'buildings'. But if Abraxas is 'expanding' I think it has more to do with a muppet down the road a bit gettin busted for class As and loosing his own license.
The little guy Doog, was again .....the owner.
Just out of interest, I think he designed the whole shop, which is a great job from top to bottom.

This was the first coffeeshop i went into (over 3 years ago now) and is always on my list of must visit shops. Their menu has always been top notch and their staff always friendly. Popped in last week still an amazing coffeeshop.

cool shop
The decor is nice in here, big comfy sofas, low tables and and the glass floor is really cool. bought a gram of jack herer for E8 I think, can't really remember. and a gram of ice hash E15 (good but there is alot better around) The rest of the menu looked quite impressive. Got some hash brownies too but never had 'em 'cus I was too stoned from the gear I got at the Grey Area.

This is one of my favourite shops!
They do the best chocolate milkshake, although the one i had last week wasn't the same, she gave me the hash in a bag rather than blending it in,as they usually do!
They do a good selection of weed and even their chocolate brownies are scrummy! I love the atmosphere of this place, it has that 'buzz' feeling to it when it's busy and great music for when it's not.
Another one i'll be visiting again in September!

The rain was pouring, we were lost, desperatly nodding around looking for a shop... luckily the sign directed us down the alley a bit and voila, a decent coffee shop, small que at the bar only made me smile, as to reassure me of the quality of the weed. Allowing the long thing, i started this to say that the girl behind the bar was very hot. Delicate features, following the general natural dutch talent.
yep the internet was free (15mins?), we sat right opposite a bank of three p.c's which weren't being used even though the shop was busy.

After 20+ visits to Amsterdam this remains favourite coffee shop without a doubt, have spent many many a happy hour chilling in there. My past two trips to Amsterdam have been on my own and nothing was nicer than settling down with some Orange Bud and hot chocolate and a good book. Splendid. I can heartily recommend their vanilla milkshakes.

I went here for the first time during my last trip, and it was definitely worth it. A guy I met at a different shop (Bluebird) recommended I try the Apple Jack, and so I made sure to stop by the morning of my departure to try it. I intended to buy the gram, smoke 1 joint, and roll the rest of for my farewell later, but ended up spending like 4 hours there with a local at the bar who wouldn't stop rolling blunts (he had 5 grams of some stuff he called "Shiva" - I don't think I've seen it around at the shops, but he said it was his favorite weed in town. It had a strong and spicy taste like the stuff I can get back home...I'd love to find this strain in Amsterdam)!
I hadn't smoked a blunt since I left for Europe in June so I was loving it. We must've smoked about 4 of his plus all the Apple Jack and Barney Rubble I had left, not to mention this weird friend of his who stopped in twice, rolled a fat joint, took like two puffs, and then just gave it to us and walked out! Anyway, this was probably one of my top smoking memories of all my trips to Amsterdam, so I'm definitely stopping in here from now on, just hoping to see that guy again!

Yeah? I must just kind of skip over it...I'd never heard of the strain myself and it doesn't really have a catchy name you know?
I'm back again next week so I'm gonna have a look around for it. I'm sure I'll be in Dampkring at least once for some hash and Reclining Buddah, so I'll try it there if they have it like you say.
