Last year I was staying (For the past 3 visits)where I could see the neon from my window..stopped in because of the nice cheery decor...seemed fresh and comfortable for my morning coffee and smoke....I was the only one there..

Since I had gear from the Bas...and had no recommendations...I too was surprised how this place popped up...I never remembered seeing it on my first 2 visits..

This trip I am heading over immediatly upon arrival...so I don't get spoiled by James and Leo at the Bas.....

4 More days to Blast off...

See y'all at the meets...Don't forget the 16th 8PM at the Basjoe

That isn't everyones opinion, I had some that wasn't dried properly (Maple something) and the top end hash was pretty flavourless.

I'll have a look at my notes, it was called Maple Syrup €12 a gram, it wasn't dried properly but after leaving it out overnight it was better, very sweet tasting if memory serves me correctly.

We had some maple syrup from here, obviously was a different batch to yours boner as ours was nice and dry.. Excellent smell and taste, not really too much of a stone the lemon skunk from here was a different story though, brilliant citrus smell, and a very heavy hitter! The budtender was very friendly, showed us his top 4 recommendations.
Nice weed and a good coffeeshop, didnt stay and smoke just picked up and left.

I liked the Green Place a lot. The guy was probably friendlier to ladies lol ;-)

Bought a cool grinder and some top gear. Here's a list:

Weed:

Trainwreck - 10 a g - Very nice, strong indica, felt it on the first hit.

AK47 - 5 g for about 40 e - Nice flavor and strength also. Good buy for the price.

OG Kush - 14 a g - WOW this stuff will knock your butt out. Strong indica... I fell asleep smoking it, but what a ride until I fell asleep!

LA Confidential - 14 a g - Grabs you and holds on for awhile; I'm all for long lasting. Definitely a good, strong indica as I felt it on the first hit and one of the best smokes of the trip. I can see what all the 'buzz' was about lol

Blueberry Cheese - 13 a g - VERY nice and strong, worth the money. GREAT for movie watching, but not too couch locking.

Hash:

Caramello - 9 a g - YUMMY! I highly recommend, and for the price it was well worth it.

One of my favorite places in the dam for gear now. Everything I got here was excellent.

I hate when they have a bad attitude. But I tend to let it slide, I always think "what if their dog just died?" they could just be having a bad day. lol.

Just come back from an extended NYE celebration, and The Green Place ended up being my local for the trip. It seemed to have the best smoke in the Nieuwmarkt square, fair priced drinks, and friendly service. €2 a Coke was average really, €5 for a Red Bull was a little more brutal.

AK47 €8/gram - bargain at the price, average taste but good nonetheless.

Trainwreck €10/gram - better taste, stronger hit.

Twizzler (hash) €12/gram - recommended by staff, even though it wasn't the most expensive hash on the menu. Dark, soft & oily, pretty killer buzz.

I didn't try some of the more expensive strains in there, but judging from the quality of the cheaper stuff, you won't go far wrong asking what's hot and seeing what they come up with.
