I would go for NL Silverpearl at this moment as the BLW I had yesterday at Katsu is certainly strong but it is not the best example I had there. The OG18 is also a bargain strength and price wise.

I didn't try the BW this trip, it was too pricey for what you got, I would have to go for the NLSP based on buzz/E value, very good indica buzz.

Spent most of Sunday here and bought black widow, amnesia haze, orange bud and some so Gouda ice. Bw was nice but I'm not sure it was worth the money, orange bud was great and at a decent price, the ice was nice but again bit pricey. For me the best they had was the A.haze which was lovely.

sad to hear that about the black widow. I've got Katsu on the list, and hopefully we'll make a trek that way. Had a couple shots at trying the BW and haven't had the opportunity from my recollections lol

do you recall if the OG was still 10e/gram?

cheers

Didn't care very much for this shop. The budtendress had an attitude and while she didn'y say anything untoward to me. She seemed to be worried I was gonna steal something and was just kinda acted cooly the whole time I was there. Like she just wanted to get your money and for you to be gone. Just didn't like the vibe. The bud I got here also was some of the worst on my trip.
Looked at the Black Widow and it looked and smelled like shyte plus was wet looking feeling.
Last trip here...

Bio-Cheese: Low cheesy smell/taste. Light buzz. Not reccomended. Was new on menu. 10.50 pg 6.5/10

Amnesia/Mystery Cross: this was written on a white board they have by the bar as a new strain just in along witht he cheese. It was an Amnesia crossed with "I can't remember" lol. it was ok. Smelled like amnesia with a little lemoney back end. Nice medium buzz. 7.5/10

We've been to Katsu many times and the weed doesn't usually disappoint... it's got a nice laid back vibe, not too small, slightly older regular "crowd" (never empty, but never really crowded either)

I know of two regular budtender ladies there, both about the same age (40s maybe?), one dark haired with darker skin and a more serious demeanor, and another one with fairer skin and (maybe?) hair, with more of an affinity with cleavage and a more flirty style :)

I don't know which bartender the previous comments refer to, but if I had to venture a guess, I'd say the first one based on my experience there (even not taking into account the flirting lol).

In any case, I've never seen overt hostility toward customers there.

As for weed, the NLSP was DELICIOUSLY cured at a reasonable price (which of course I don't remember... I think 2.4g for 20E maybe?), with a nicely balanced stone... loved dat shit

i agree with you man! and also have never been disappointed on my visits either! the BW was awesome! as was the lavender but that was a few years ago now and i was gutted to see its not still on the menu! but both lady budtenders are always really friendly with me! you're rite about the flirty one btw lol but even the other woman gave me katsu post cards, stickers and a green light district coffee shop guide one time! ok i did spend like 100 euros that day but she was nice from the start! other people must have caught her on a bad day or something lol either way KATSU is a great coffee shop and ill still go every dam trip! x

My favorite thing about Katsu is that it is easy to meet locals. This is probably not surprising given its distance from the center of town. The weed i bought here was OK, but I thought the service was good. As someone else mentioned, it never seems too crowded nor it is lonely. I'll visit them again in December.

My first time here in 5 trips and no bw on the menu :(
Grabbed a bag of the sogouda and it was a decent enough smoke not an awful lot of flavour but it really worked for my headache at the time. Very nice shop though and friendly budtender lady
