Another positive experience for Media. Really friendly staff and a nice smokers area. Great music played and good prices for great weed. The Amnesia Haze was a lovely smoke, the Silver Bubble Haze came rated higher from the lovely BT but there was only crumbs left and she recommended waiting for them to restock in an hour so I got the Amnesia for the time being and ended up forgetting about the silver bubble entirely haha.
Joint favourite coffeeshop with Utopia, Media has cheaper weed but Utopia was in a more convenient location.

1st trip in a long time and 1st try of the fabled zooltjes. Can only endorse this hash as others have before.

We camped here for 2-3 hrs to escape the bitter cold and worked through a few items on the list. The highlights were the Hindu Kush and Casey Jones for the weed and on top of the zooltjes I should mention that the Caramello was absolutely superb. So much so that before we left I bought a 5g bag for good measure.

Always seems to be filled with friendly locals ranging from elder people engaging in a game of backgammon to younger "hipper" locals and executives enjoying a quite spliff with their heads buried in books or laptops. A "proper" local.

If you were to seriously debate the best coffee shops in the dam this, in my humble opinion, would be right up there. Don not let the purchase before entry policy put you off.

Club media is a fantastic coffeeshop offering great weed and hash at a fair price. It's easy to find located between the heinieken brewery and the market. The shop is very welcoming and comfortable once your inside.

The last time i visted just under a month ago I ordered a gram of the Caramelo £8.50 upon entry then sat down for my morning cup of tea. I do think that Morrocan hash is my favourite smoke before lunch, not blowing me away but setting me up nicely for the day ahead. The Caramelo was a smooth mild tasting hash, it was nice and soon found myself rolling up the rest of it.

It was at this point that Matty and then Gapie arrived, we had arranged to meet up the night before but in a drunken state I am surprised any of us remembered. So the real smoking started and I was battered, so much so that I had to get some cool fresh air. The others came with me and we walked up to centrum, stopping for a sweet joint of Recon on the way, much to the disgust of a passing women who received an accidental face full of the smoke.

It was not untill much later that I realised I had intended to buy a few grams of green to try out as well but completely forgot, oh well an excuse to go back

Good weed and fantastic service from the women at Media. Had the Hindu Kush and the Silver Bubble. Table service by the dealer on the Silver Bubble as she was wating for it to come in.

Kinda fell in love with this shop last week even if its miles away from my hotel it's worth the walk the recon and Hindu Kush wer very good smokes and also under 50e 4 5 gram carnt be grumbled at flying bk on Monday by my self so I'm planning on having many a good hour spend here with what seemed like a lot of locals young and old

5g of Caramelo and a free coffee £38.75 . Spotless as always great service and friendly vibe. Will let you know about the caramelo once sampled

Pissed off with these idiots. Went for Hindu kush. Was end of tub. They said refilled tomorrow so went back next day and no Hindu at all. Muppets. It's a long way although trams are free. Did get a free orange flavour fairy cake though.

Club media has some of the nicest, friendly and sexy staff..... they are certainly not idiots or muppets either! Shame on youn!

What has nicest, friendly and sexy staff got to do with giving me the wrong info so I had to waste a couple of hours of my time going there? Still muppets. I wanted to spend 55euro. Not a small amount.You wouldn't expect a 'proper' retail outlet the liberty of letting you down with not have a product they said they would have for you if you went back the next day would you?

Menu's changed a little in the last week, Hindu Kush and another one I can't remember is 'Under construction'

New one was strawberry x diesel (I hope I remembered that right) but it was just a small bit of dust leftover. Hippie is back, pretty good smoke, didn't realise the full of effects until I was outside and could still feel it well a couple hours later. Almost fell off my bike when I reached home that I blame on this

Some new isolator + bubble hash too I was also told


e2a: D'oh and forgot the main reason I post, some Dutch outdoors weed, didn't say a specific name for 6EUR a gram (or maybe 8 if not 6) but smokes well and gives a real nice buzz (tho that could be assisted by the earlier hippie smoke)

cheers for the info this use to be my local along with de grall, but i recently moved..... was gonna fly by media tonight but ended up going on a mission out west and out to hoofdorp instead! Media tomorrow it is

Oh good lord, a coffeeshop not receiving a delivery of one particular weed (which is still by the confusing dutch law actually of dubious legality) at a particular appointed time that is suitable for you does not make everyone who works there an idiot or muppet. It is the nature of the business and you expect menu changes or shortages to happen at any CS at any time. Unfortunate, but I'm sure nobody deliberately misled you.

The sensible thing of course would have been to have tried one of their other reasonably priced and quite enjoyable smokes instead.

Oh, and how on earth did it take you a couple of hours? Its only a half hour walk from the centre, much less on a tram?

Anyway, really like this place, very modern interior, lots of locals but welcoming, tv showing football but not taking over the shop. Had the Hippy on Saturday (€9.50/g iirc), really good value, nice smoke & high.

I'm sorry but things like that do piss me off. If you can't be sure when a delivery arrives then don't encourage the customer to come back the next day in a rather positive manor. Most people only have a limited time in Amsterdam. I have also tried there other strains most are good and very well priced. But I went there specifically for a large amount of Hindu. Three of us Not once but twice! Don't care how near or far it's out of my way period. Once in the area though you have to stay for a joint or two so yes it's a two hour round trip. Maybe the above comments are harsh. But so is wasting my time. So there's only one muppet the BT who told me twice that next day they'll Defo have it in twice!!Or two if you include me for believing her. Hot or not just say you don't know if quite obviously u don't.

I'm sure we all know what it's like to be after something specific, and only to have a limited amount of time to source it. But it's not as though there's nothing else decent available, either there or in another of the excellent shops in the neighbourhood, if you want to throw your toys out of the pram and flounce. It's not exactly a straightforward business, as has been pointed out.

Second best coffeeshop after Paradox in all of Amsterdam imo. Great friendly service, consistent herbs and very good value. There Pot of Gold is always very nice and cheap too also there Amnesia and Champagne Haze are always very good. Nicely appointed shop great for the wife/girlfriend.
