orle wrote:The White Rhino was good, it had a nice earthy musky taste, and was very smooth. Potency was good too (nothing earthshaking tho). The LAxCaseyJones felt stronger and more sedating per hit.

So currently: Casey Cookies at Boerejongens for 10 eur p/g, LA Casey at Bij for 11 p/g

glad you got hold of some of that LA Casey , eband, the casey joneses at this shop are great eh? Cuts thru tolerance like little else does

I walked out with a sizable White Rhino bud this morning. Not bad at all as a high-CBD indica, much better than the granulated hay-tasting "Bediol" shite from the apothecary, and not debilitating as, say, LA Confidential or a strong kush. Real nice smell to it, Playdough clay-like musky and deep....fairly different from yr average coffeeshop indica.

Jungle Haze (8 p/g) is a nice surprise, a chunky resinous haze with strong bubblegum aroma.. the fella told me that 1) he had heard that Jungle Haze is "like Amnesia but harvested earlier" and 2) he had stopped smoking weed altogether while ago  I've noticed that the guys here aren't always the best source for detailed info, last week one of them started ranting about "all those new fancy strains", heh, and often they're just too busy to go into detail (not their fault obv)! They have been very friendly and patient with showing their product and weighing out small sampler-bags and the like (and damn right they should! with all the spamming i'm doing for them on here!).

Pics of the Jungle Haze, lots of trichs:

One batch of White Rhino in 2010 from here was just amazing. Knock out stone for about 8-9€. Really, really impressed me. Didn't find something similar in coffeeshops since that.

Two new strains: Grapefruit (8 euro p/gr) and Alegria Sunrise (9 p/gr). Bought some more Super Silver Kali cos the effect was spot-on, colorful and strictly heady. Grapefruit was on the indica menu and it was 8 per gram. The BT said that it had arrived earlier today but it was "running out of the door", going very fast, and revealed only 1,5 grams left in the tub that I promptly bought  It looks fantastic, Diesel-ish, ditto on the smell.

edit: hot damn. phew. i hope that the Grapefruit stays on their menu at that price.

+1, the effect of the KaliSS surprised me. Clearer than the average SSH, very heady and yea, lasts for ages.

Just make sure it is dry. I hear a lot of customers here asking "is het droog?" and I'm a bit sad to say I've become one of them. Scored a small bag of Kali-SS today after asking if it was reasonably dry. I squeezed the bud in the shop and it was completely damp... the BT agreed with me, and swapped it for some M4-SSH.

A fellow customer asked for the Laughing Buddha and I overheard the BT saying "oh it's just a PP"! It is still priced at 7 euro per gram but the customer was all "nawww I want something strong" when he saw the tub---couldn't blame him 8) the LB = dark small-ish buds that are very resinous up close but mediocre-looking otherwise, with light spicy woody smell that reminds me of a Mexican or Neville's Haze of many years ago, and gets me very very high unlike any Power Plant I've ever had, flying, creeper
