I agree with stuart1976, the Bas Special is a lovely smoke. I stopped in on Monday afternoon on the 7th. Very quite, just how I like it. In my haze I have forgotten the gentleman's name that was in the shop that day, but he is undoubtedly one of the coolest persons I have met. This was only my second visit to Basjoes but definitely not my last. My first visit was in September on a nice Sunday afternoon. Sat outside, puffed on my pipe filled with excellent Amnesia, and watched the world go by.

Easy to find, clean, nice simple layout of chairs and tables, nice reggae at an appreciable sound level, and above all else - customer service that is truly second to none.
Highly recommended.

Enjoyed the Bas Special as well during the cup, one of the top smokes. Basjoe became one of my favorite shops, James actually is holding my bong for me till my next trip this summer.

managed to get some terminator while in basjoes.... very hard hitting stuff

While I'm not a huge fan of the shop based on my first visit, I did find this and buy it...

phew... i had some serious issues with the 3 grams of terminator i bought last week. it whistled when burned and it popped sometimes too, like when you lite a match... so there was still gas in there, not good nono. i managed to get the rest of the gas out, and now its an enjoyable smoke, but dude, i didnt pay 50 a gram for gas?!

when i first bought the terminator it was the complete dry, rocky, powdery, budder-like stuff that tasted like nice weed and hit you in your face, now they always have this semi-dry gas stuff, what the fuck? i want the dry one back, please let me know where i can find some like that. i think i will still buy 1 gram when there, because its still pretty good jelly when the gas is gone, but the irst time i got it, it was out of this world. please please investigate for me

bud tender was friendly had no bas special and said amnesia haze was the next best thing. nice smoke and damn them space cakes were like the old pink floyd ones

what do you mean about the gas in the terminator, sorry not understanding please help

I'm guessing that they use gasoline to extranct the trichomes and then allow it to evaporate leaving you with the gooey hash pictured above. I'm no genius but this doesn't sound at all safe even if they aren't rushing this process. Someone help?

sigh...its been gone over 50 times...read back....learn then if ya have some questions ill be glad to help...its perfectly safe done right and an earlier post was incorrect about what he thought he saw...the gas is gone almost immediatly after the process is started....what he got was normal and on;ly one of the ways it will burn,,,,have fun...oh and theres no gasoline...lol

Gas is not gasoline, but much more likely butane or possible even carbon dioxide. read up on how products like this are made, there are numerous usable solvents....
