It's not exactly a straightforward business, as has been pointed out.
So what are your suggestions? In my experience nothing in the Albert Cuyp area comes close to the Hindu Kush- when its a good batch. Amsterdam in general only has a few batches of weed worth buying on any given trip anyway. A few special bits camouflaged in bundles of green mediocrity. I've tried lots of club medias menus over the years, and yeah nice bud but not 5grams nice. It's also not a case of throwing toys out of pram just my opinions and feelings.
Has Club Media got Fanboys? Haha

Wtf?? You say that you've been there twice, the second time the following day after a really busy period in Amsterdam, and act like you know everything about the place. 55eur compared to most of the places in the centrum isn't much money.

If you feel the need to call the individual employee serving you at a cafe/store a muppet because they run out of something (or perhaps circumstances prevented them at the time of getting it particularly due to the legality of what you're after) and don't immediately have it then you are much more than a muppet, a very impatient one.

Feel free to call me a fanboy also but I like places where you always get really friendly, patient service in return for your custom and never feel like you're overstaying your welcome be it with friends or alone with a laptop. Oh and the good weed at decent prices is a nice bonus.

Here's some of the outdoor, 6EUR a gram, called Sunshine (click for closer image), seems to have some purple :)

Have I missed something??? Is being a male fan of a really good coffeeshop a bad thing?

 it's more a web/nerd term I think, like a diehard supporter (so diehard they usually refuse to acknowledge any criticism of what they support) as urbandictionary describes it
1. A person who is completely loyal to a game or company reguardless of if they suck or not.
2. A pathetic insult often used by fanboys themselves to try and put down people who don't like whatever it is they like.

So u like my acting? You obviously can't read or have a 5 year olds imagination, watching me 'acting like a know it all' Oscar for me. I've been to Media countless times.
Just for you. I went there 3 times in total this trip. On 3 consecutive days. Day 1 not much Hindu Kush so had a gram to c if it was upto usual standards. It was so asked BT when the refill happens. Defo Tomor she says, usually midday. Day 2 went back at 4pm. No Hindu Kush! Same girl. Oh not till Tomor. Told her she said that yesterday. She said Defo Tomor!! Adamant almost. Day 3 pm my last day in Dam. No Hindu Kush. BT blank look on face.
So come on haven't I got a right to be pissed off about that? I wasn't rude to the BT obviously but I can air my views here. Really not a case of me being impatient or wanting anything immediately. Like I said u can't read or have a very vivid imagination. You also don't think 55euros is a lot of money? Forget comparing to other places. Hindu Kush is a good buy at 55euros probably still worth it at 60euros but not anymore than that. 55euros is a lot of money period.
Also nothing wrong with being a Fan Boy of Club Media it's a nice place with good weed at a descent price. I do like the place.
That weed however does look like 6 euro weed.
It's all been said and done now and is very boring. So move on.

Kushler, hey bro hope you are well....most of Club Media gear looks like "6e weed" because it is organic grown naturally without the added chems and ferts. For me thats a big factor in what i smoke and how much i pay for it,. Sucks you couldnt connect on the hindu, it really is top shelf.

Hey u ok dude. Yeah love my organic weed too and I know that's what they do at Media. It's not an issue for me like it is for you and others. I do prefer soil grown weed though. The pic above does look like 6 euro weed!!! But I never said it didn't look tasty or good lol. I'm just messing about tbh. Yeah bummer I haven't got any Hindu to smoke but I'm back in 6 weeks so ill try again! Might even ask for some sunshine(purple haze).

I've been going to Club Media for about 3 years now. Maybe a little longer. It is on a very short list of the only places I've not had crappy weed OR hash.
Maybe I've been lucky in about 20 visits. Maybe ACD is a wonderful resource for picking a winner. Maybe Club Media does a few things no one else does. Whatever it is they do I like it. Judging by the way the place has taken off of late it seems others do too.
That is just on product alone. The fact that it is one of the nicer coffeeshop interiors in town helps a lot too.

Make the Most of It

Monday, April 15, 2013:

I got up early and traveled from Almere Haven to Amsterdam Centraal. I met up with gapie at Utopia at around 10am. We had some drinks and some smokes and soon we were joined by the Canadian Delegates for the Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory. I spent a few minutes filling out a ballot for the Hestia awards and finally we were ready to head out to visit some other coffeeshops.

We eventually took a tram down to De Pijp where we dropped in on Club Media. This pleasant coffeeshop is located south of the Centrum near the Albert Cuyp Market. The excellent menu has a nice variety of product and the prices are very reasonable.

In this video you'll see some exterior shots of the coffeeshop, a look at the menu and some brief clips from inside the shop as we sit down to enjoy some Lemon Skunk.
