This was a shop that I was a little bit dissapointed in. I looked at blueberry, neville's haze, and the caramello. I bought some of each of these varieties and I wasn't impressed other than the caramello which was pretty strong. The blueberry didn't smell or taste of blueberrys, and I didn't get to try the neville's haze. I was rather dissapointed by the size of the buds they had and not one of the buds I saw in the tupperware weighed more than a gram. This was a bit surprising because I was in there around 1030 AM and the tubs were full. Maybe I just didn't try the right bud but I think I may skip the 420 when I make it to Amsterdam again.

I find this place a bit hit or miss these days, the super silver haze and nycd can be exceptional, but the last two times i have been i wasn't tempted by any green on the menu.

Have heard good things about their kush though.

Gona try some bud next time! as there hash wasnt up to much last year,Blueburry gave us a good rundown on what to buy! neviles haze (i think) was f-ing packed with crystals .

There was no crystals on the neville's haze when I was there, and I talked to the guy who smoked what I bought and he said it was no good. I may have just stopped in on a bad day but like I said above I was disappointed based on the good reviews I read of this shop on these forums.

Tried this place again , but I just don't get the buzz about it , imo at best it's ok , but not that special (going in 10 mins before closing aside ) it seemed dead whenever I passed & when we did go in my impression of the place did not change .

the NYCD in November was the best tasting herb ive ever smoked in my life. Hands down.

just got back from the dam and i went to this place as soon as they opened everyday,

hot chocolates are only 2 euros, awsome music, tripping with the cat there but good,

smoked 4 grams there a day with my mate, free bong to use which was cool,

friendly staff
we had 1 gram of nevils haze
1 gram of 420 kush
1 gram of nyd
and then 1 gram of good old white widow

all the weed i had here was amazing my fav coffee shop to sit and chill for sure and 3 hours later when i left i was tripping my balls of and ended up in the burger bar a 30 secs walk from 420

cant rate this place enough

This was my first ever coffeeshop experience and it was the perfect introduction to the Amsterdam experience. I will also probably make this my last stop before leaving this wonderful city.

Nice mellow vibe, not overcrowded on a Friday night. Staff very friendly no attitude.

All the weed I got here was top notch

420 Kush (dont remember price paid): heavy Indica stone that was really really nice.

I usually stop by and get the WW 5g deal . The place was much nicer when they were allowed to serve booze not that I drink much the vibe was just better.

Never went in there in my earlier amsterdam visits...but I think its time to pay Café 420 a visit this tyme around.. Review comming up ina months time

The 420 kush is 12 euro a gram. I do love the 420 cafe... nicest people and atmosphere... not to mention the absence of pounding techno music...

420 is always one of my first stops when I get in town! As a matter of fact now that I think about it, the 420 was my very first coffee shop ever visited in Amsterdam.

I'm currently in Amsterdam for a few days, having a brilliant trip. Last night DC was possibly the best host one could ask for last...thanks again mate!.

I've just come from 420 and thought I'd post up here.

The budtender was really friendly. I'd heard good things about both the Neville's haze, and the Diesel and first looked at the diesel. It was crappy looking, definately not 12euro bud, so I looked at the Nevilles Haze, also crappy. They were both dry, shakey, with little smell and crystal coverage. I passed on both, and the dealer didnt seem to be suprised... making me think he knew he was selling shit bud to dumb tourists.

Then I see that they have a over 90% rating on ACD and am wondering what the appeal is? Do you guys just take buds in from elsewhere?

Seriously, the top shelf 13 Euro Nevilles haze looked like some crappy homegrown. No sparkle whatsoever, and a couple of big buds and masses of shake. Compared to the 13Euro buds at grey area....... you can see whewre I;m going...

Sounds bad but in their defense I cant think of a single shop that hasn't shown me shit weed over the years.

The NYCD and Kush I've had from 420 has always been top smokes.
