Hi,

is it possible to get a joint rolled out of the strain of my choice in Utopia?
I am coming to Amsterdam only for 2 days and this would allow me to try more different strains, than buying a gram of one strain and smoking it the whole day :)

Thanks

When I was there 3 weeks ago there were no pre-rolled pure, I asked the oriental looking budtender who I think is the owner to make one for me. He weighed out buds to the value of 10 Euros and made me one of Citronella and one of Kandy Kush. They were from fresh buds in the tubs and were excellent :D :D :D .
Suggest you ask whoever is behind the counter - if they are really busy or they have plenty of pre-rolled stocked up they might not.
Don't be shy and ask nicely.
That goes for any coffeeshop, politely ask for anything.
All the best,
RTnB

Thank you for the answer.
That sound optimistic, as my goal is to try different strains, ans as my missus doesn't smoke much, it would be a waste to buy bags and not finish them :)

Cheers.

Hello folks, been a while since I gave an update on how things are going for us but I have been keeping an eye on the thread and we're really pleased to see so many people happy with what they find when they come to visit us.

It's been pretty busy here as the so called summer has got underway, though we had to close for a couple of days in early june after a serious fire in a building three doors down from us.
Two of our neighbours died and Amanda had to hurriedly evacuate our hostel, though thankfully the fire brigade managed to prevent the fire spreading.
Not how you want to see your place of business on the news: http://www.at5.nl/artikelen/82572/stel- ... nd-centrum

Since then things have been busy but we've managed to fit in a bit of much needed decorating, both outside and in. allowing us to get some new art on the walls as well as replacing the broken TV with a bookshelf for folks to browse.

I think the place is looking great, and we will continue to try and make improvements to the place even if there may be a bitter end in sight.

To answer some questions from upthread;

@ Damagedagain- thanks for the offer. A man can never have too many proper tea bags.. Barry's would be barry mate.

@ Mellow Stu- I have to be careful about not falling foul of advertising laws(and I've even taken it off the menu!), but if you ask me nicely when you come by I will to explain how we would work out a menu sampler for you.

@ Stu- was great to see you again and cheers for the pictures.

@remczar- many things are possible, don't be shy to ask. As I say regularly- nice things for nice people!

and finally for now, @barschener- I wasn't sure what to make of your comments other than I disagree with them.
As it seems that most other posters to the thread do not share your opinions I guess I won't lose too much sleep over them. You can't please all the people all the time. :)

Looking forward to catching up with more acd-ers through the summer.

RIP, and condolences to the families.
I walked past on the 5th and didn't notice.

Slowly but surely Utopia is developing some character. Nice job Nel and Inge.
The Champagne Haze was very delicious, a nice clear/up high.

Cheers Uncle Ron, glad you liked the champagne.
Stu- Regarding the bookshelf-I used to work for a major bookshop back on the island and acquired a great many books, some of which I still haven't read nor,I have realised, will I ever, others I have two copies of or I don't think I'm likely to re-read.
So I'm using this as an opportunity to clear out the things I don't want in the hope that other people may enjoy them.
Here's a picture of how it is right now, though I imagine it will get refilled regularly as people are welcome to help themselves.
