In their defence, I seem to remember all their stuff being bio and/or organic?
I'm not a grower so correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this leads to a more standardised bud shape/appearance (obviously depending on the strain) rather than the sometimes bulgingly genetically modified, dipped in sugar look of top-price hydro? Like outdoor weed never looks as technically impressive as indoor?
As most of the weeds I have bought there look somewhat similar but were clearly different strains, I just assumed they were all grown by the same grower-whatever they have always been good!
Plus they rock cos they still have their BYO food policy even though the sign is no longer there which is unheard of in these days of "you have to buy our weed and a drink just to sit here" policy of some centrum shops.
Miss the Amstel tho ):

This was possibly my favorite establishment when I was over in the Dam at the end of August. I was just down the street in the Golden tulip and it was always the first and last coffee shop I went in.
The inside is clean and inviting to a stoner, the menu is small but varied with fair prices, the english guy behind the counter was friendly and helpful, the perfect place to chill out.
This place is not everyones cup of tea but it was mine.

Hi TB,I can't make a direct comparison cos i smoked 1 pipe of Kashmiri, then added the rest to a parcel which i sent to a friends place, that i'll pick up in a couple of weeks ,but i remember my tongue becoming coated in that oily ,sweet taste, smoothe on the throat, and spacing off for a good while...I've written in the notebook"YUMMMMMMMM"

so,yeah, good gear, and the guy especially recomended it ,cos he knows i like the black hash

...
The Parvati is total amnesia.smoking this round a friends last night and cannot remember walking home...

The parvati i got last year was decieving... no smell nor taste... it was quite impure, you could guess it had some plant matter mixed with it... greenish color...
Nothing to compare with de Graal's kashmir i got 2 weeks ago...
Deliciously spicy smell and taste... loved it... really comes out from other blacks i tasted...
