Must revisit this place, only time i was there was the week they were altering it from sit-in to buy and fly, the place was a mess so we plodded on to The Top, now Sinsemilla, which used to be a great place to sit in (also now b&f only

Lucky Winnie! Let me know what looks tasty- not long now until I'm back in the neighborhood.

Yes, yes, give us a menu update. Anything new? Anything especially tasty?

Re: Hugo de Groot
neat menu here, has anyone tried their cheese recently??
Im heading to amsterdam in 2 weeks time, hoping to finally find a nice batch of cheese... I always tend to be disappointed though... but this time I'll find some, really lookin forward to this cheese mission of mine..

Re: Hugo de Groot
Thanks a ton guys! I arrive on the 19th next month, so I'm looking forward to hitting up Hugo the following day for the special.
Hugo is buy & fly only, right? Any nearby shops that you'd recommend to hang out in? Perhaps a T & T next month is in order?

Hi Marco - is the top gruis worth smoking?! At that price for 5g it's gotta be worth the question! I'm betting it's 10x better than the usual schwag over here?!

Checked the gruis out this morning! It was looking really well, a great deal better than Katsu's current gruis offering. I went for the lemon haze though (kudos to Winnie for the tip) but I will try it the next few days!

Re: Hugo de Groot
It's the 5th today, so bi-monthly deals. Buy 15e of a strain, get an extra 5e worth free.
2gs of nice smelling cheese for 15e. Also picked up 15e of the kush. The kush doesn't smell like much, dill and lightly footy, but it has a lovely strawberry flavor with a funky lemon finish. Kushy in the lungs. Mellow, fairly strong stone.
The lemon haze and the amnesia haze both looked very nice.
Like this shop.
Seem to be going by Coffeshop Hugo on the signage now, which is much easier to say.

Re: Hugo de Groot
Funny, Stan bought some kush here too, about an hour after I did, and he had a different kush.
Not as pretty, with a few (mature) seeds. Still strong, tasty, and smooth to smoke. We actually kind of liked it better, even though it has less bag appeal. I'm thinking about grabbing a bit more as we head out tonight.
