Went in there a long time ago with a friend. At the time we didn't know very much if anything about weed but even we spotted how shit the weed was there and decided to buy the cheapest thing on the menu so we could go downstairs to their psychedelic chill out area. It is only lit with blue UV bulbs and has graffiti that glows on the walls. They play loud music down there too. It is pretty trippy.
We took our paper cups served to us by the surly BT who (mostly) resisted my charm offensive on the way in. and went down for an interesting hour or so. My friend liked it so much he wanted to go back but while it was an interesting experience, not my cup of tea and not worth the shitty weed, the shitty drinks and the shitty BT to get down there.
I'm still a little unsure whether it is the same place because the name throws me. Double Reggae. It is not a reggae place at all. The music was not reggae either. Nothing about the place was even slightly reggae.

Maybe it is a double negative that cancels each other out.

Anyhow if you can manage to not have your trip ruined by the surly BT downstairs might be a fun place to enjoy truffles. It is pretty freaky down there if you like that kind of thing.

I always wondered why the shop was called Double Reggae but had a picture of Jim Morrison painted on the window.

Coffeeshop is closed, Coffeeshop License was not renewed...

Walked in there only because they had a sign up saying it was their last day, and weed was discounted... I took a look, it looked like crap, the budtender was a nasty old man, we walked out laughing. He said the place is turning into a reggae bar. The next day the windows were covered up.
