Can't say sth bad about GH on Haarlemmer. Yes, it is typical touristic spot... but large rooms, couches, friendly staff and a possibility to smoke your own weed and dont order the drinks, only sitting, relaxing, smoke your own stash in nice location, especially when it's cold outside- all these features make GH on Haarlemmer one of the best hook-up points in central area

Maybe for you but I've had multiple experiences of budtenders being pushy, rude and not knowing their product. Also I've never sat in there without a waitress coming up to me asking what drink I want (as opposed to if I'd like a drink). Not to mention the fact that it's undeniably overpriced and the weed is usually grown to pretty poor standards.

Can't say anything bad about greenhouse, was my first ever stop, and will be my first stop when I go in march aswell.
Weeds always good and staff are always friendly and even funny. 2nd time I went in 2012 I asked about the 'moby dick' weed and the guy replied with, "you Wonna smell mobys dick?". It's a nice size and nice coffee shop too chill out in, yeah the waitress always asks what drink you want but I'll always buy a drink in a cofeeshop.

Couldn't agree more. always found the staff there friendly apart from the odd pushy waiting staff. Never bought anything bad there either. A very comfy shop too. Lots of room for TnT's etc. Their gear during the HTCC was not half bad as long as you didn't turn your nose up at it before even going into the shop.
All 3 HTCC entries in Nov were good. No complaints at all. Don't really understand the GH haters on here at all.

Stopped by last xmas, 2013, and had a good time actually. Was able to get a table one night, it was jammed, then stood at the bar the next night. Bought some Lemon Haze that smelled good, got me stoned, but I don't think it was cured right. Really didn't burn well, but it did the job.

Second night had the Amnesia Haze, really nice buzz, liked it better than the Lemon. The place was packed but the budtenders were friendly and helpful. I guess I have a baby face but when i was rolling up a gram joint of the Amnesia the budtender looked over and said "be careful with that, it's very strong." After I finished it and returned the lighter I borrowed and bought another gram he just smiled. Guess I earned some props on his end.

Tried the space cakes, pretty good stone but just knocked me and the wife out for the night, really tired high. For the price they packed a punch, just needed to stay awake longer to enjoy it!

I'd definitely go back, but I did get the vibe that a lot of the people hanging out there were just trying too hard to be cool, like it was about being seen there than enjoying a good toke. But I might have just been really high and that's not the case.

You personally might not have experienced anything bad, but obviously a ton of people have repeatedly experienced rude and rushed service, out of control bouncers or bad quality product at the same high prices they always charge.

I myself usually visit around opening hours and haven't experienced anything that bad, but I can clearly see why some people would resent GH and I don't understand how you can't see that.

Never had any bad experience here....great shop and fun atmosphere

Had a bad experience a few years back where I was sold a gram of Bubba Kush bursting with hidden seeds (I didn't notice as I took the weed away to smoke later)
I have avoided this place since out of principle, although I understand it could have been a single bad batch it was clear to me the budtender must've known there was a problem with the weed. I could've been the first person to buy that batch but i doubt it.
I am tempted to drop in in a couple of weeks if herijuana is still on the menu to see if its the real deal.... no point holding a grudge forever I guess

I personally dislike the way arjan and his pal franco do business. Therefor I boycott everything greenhouse related, and think one of the only good things to come from them was their super lemon haze and white widow, which is a topic in itself.

Flower Bomb Kush is definitely not worth 16e a gram IMO but it's one of the best weed I smoked since yesterday, strong taste and melting effects

Is Flowerbomb Kush still on the menu ?

I was wondering the same.

I've always enjoyed my time in greenhouse. I understand where people are coming from with the pushy waitresses etc but personally I have never left the place with anything significant to complain about, let alone add it to my blacklist. The one negative I will mention is buying "Arjan's Haze" on my first trip to the Dam which was very disappointing. Similar to Barney's - the first time I went I bought some "Vanilla Kush" which i'm sure was identical to what dealers around here called "import". Not great at all, it can be strong enough to kill snoop dogg but if it smells and tastes like arse i'm not interested. Unless it's Mila Kunis's arse.
