I had a ticket for his concert in Amsterdam, but just couldn’t get the money together to go

I see a fave of mine - Stereolab - are playing Amsterdam Paradiso on my birthday. Gutted I can't make it, that would've been amazing.

Spotted this myself. Seriously considering it as an excellent excuse for a trip!

Currently got the ear worm with Brain Salad Surgery, by Emerson, Lake and Palmer (1973) which is a bonkers album with some quite brilliant playing.

Still giving it the occasional listen, but added to it recently, The Remembering - High the Memory, (aka side two of Tales from Topographic Oceans) by Yes (1973).

Widely considered (and in the past by myself) as a bit of padding, noodling. A side-filler, if you like. It is, in fact, in my current reassessment, a rather fabulous 20 minute track, in many ways a precursor to Awaken from Going for the One (1977)

I currently have the dreaded ear worm with the song
Between two Points by Romany and David Gilmour. Went to see their concert film a couple of days ago at the cinema in Bath.

The album it’s taken from, Luck and Strange, I can also recommend highly.
