Easily my favorite coffeshop when I was there in May, James couldn't be a nicer guy and everything is good quality. Not only that but James is a great guy and was the nicest budtender of my trip by far, that Terminator stuff was unlike anything I've seen before. Just great vibes from this place and rest assured this will be my first and last stop on my next trip.
Here is a picture of the terminator, not the best but I tried.

Went on a day trip to Amsterdam on Wednesday (23 June 10) and spent the afternoon at Basjoes. The weather was perfect (mid to upper 70's with a slight breeze) as was the hospitality and gear.
I started off with some Bas Special (E12/gm) which smoked really nice. After drinking a bottle of Lipton Green Tea (E2.00), James offered me a treat, something 'special'. It was a small piece of hash that burned with some sparkle and went down real smooth. Within a few moments the effects hit, clear and uplifting.
An hour or so later, I sat outside and burned some Amnesia Haze (E12/gm) and was not disappointed. Buds were tight and full of trichomes; burned nicely, leaving a nice white ash.
Before I headed back to Centraal and my 5.5 hour train ride back home, James offered me a drink of water with a few drops of 'liquid' THC. When the solution was mixed with the water, it turned milky white. As for the taste, very unique, something I have never tasted before. Needless to say, the return trip was very nice.
Pics of the gear to follow. First I have to digitally develop the pics. ''
Looking forward to next month's day trip.

One of many more to come. Summer weather is finally here, so it's off to ADam at least once a month, probably more towards the end of the Summer.

Took us almost 24 hours of travel to get to Amsterdam last year, so its a once a year type of thing for us.
Going for two weeks this time to make it more worth it.

Something I noticed as well on my first visit, not an extensive menu. They do however offer quality gear at reasonable prices, which is more than I can say for some shops I have been to.
IIRC, they offer four types of Indica and four types of Sativa. As for Hash, I think they offer six or eight flavors. Damn, I was just there on Wednesday and can't seem to recall all that was on the menu. What I seem to recall is that the Amnesia Haze, Heavenly Haze, Bas Special, and Cheese (sold out) went for E12/gm and the Indicas started at E7/gm, with a Jamaican special of 3gms for E15 (IIRC). The Hash offerings are as good if not better than most shops in town (slightly biased opinion, so sue me '' ).

This seems about right. Damn, only off by a couple on each side.
Paraphrasing "StonedSince'67", cheese + cream special = cream cheese. '' First time I have read/heard of 'cream cheese' used in this context.

we were there in early June and found the place a practical nice coffeeshop with really good weed---I bought the bas Special and the Himalaya hash which both turned out to be excellent---I really liked Basjoes as do many others --it has the coolest budtender of our visit by a mile, amazing freshly squeezed orange juice---music was pretty boring agin tho ( a common thing in most coffeeshops I found ) but overall a real nice authentic feel to this place--you get the feeling that most folk had deliberatly went there not just dropped in because they were passing----love it

Finally visited this shop and loved it as well, when i could catch it open!! James, as everyone comments is an excellent budtender and host recommended the Heaven Haze as a sativa not too strong which is what i wanted. Excellent smoke, me and the mrs really enjoyed and went back for more a few times but dissapointed to find it closed. Have no idea of opening times but was closed quite a bit when i went by. The Bas Special is also an excellent smoke from here, Indica with a nice stone but nothing intense, just nice. Overall great little shop, always busy with locals in and out which i see as a sign of a good shop. Definately be back
