Re: Utopia
@ Colino - looks lovely eh? I'm hoping those pics will appear here before long.
@ Paddy- Not sure this particular batch will make it to the end of the week never mind the cup, which we don't enter anyway.
While we will be aiming to have a tip top menu for that week, we won't be bothering with the hyped up nonsense of the actual competition.
Last year I was thrown out of the prize giving ceremony for lighting up a joint and I'm still a little pissed off about it.
Anyway if you are in town this week you can come and see what it is that all these California folk are always banging on about.

Re: Utopia
I'm not going to enquire about the "secret" recipe, but I would like to understand the ingredients in a relative way.nel z bub wrote:Glad to hear that our cakes are going down well, they're very tasty too eh?
I can't really go into specifics on the muffin recipe, other than to say that there is sufficient active ingredient for most heads.
I've had Tweede Kamer and Dampkring cakes with .4 grams and Homegrown Fantasy cakes at .6, All were happy, mellow experiences that I thoroughly enjoyed!
Then I had your .3 gram muffin and it was a whole different world. I was surprised in a good way!
So how do I build equivalence? I'd like to be able to pick my effect, then pick my cake! Sometime I want to be surprised; sometimes I don't. Do I have to rely on experience?
Could it be a Sativa vs Indica thing? I'm tempted to say, "No" as I've smoked plenty of both and, for me, the effects aren't that different.
Am I looking at budder vs ground shake?

Re: Utopia
The ebidles definitely work best on an empty stomach, could this be why you've had no luck? In my experience they also take a couple of hours to kick in so no point having one too close to when you go to sleepsensismiler wrote:
I think paradox cakes have 1.25g of cannabutter whereas it seems utopia use .3g of weed / hash? unless the quality of hash or weed is that much better in the utopia cakes? Got to try these now. The paradox ones arent as strong as i was expecting. Next flight home i think il get 2 from utopia! If they dont work well then im about done with wasting money on edbles! I just dont think i process them that well

Re: Utopia
@ Rvansteel - Much depends on (1)where your greenhouse is and (2)who is in charge of it.
In this case, the answers to those two questions are
1- northern California
and
2- some of the best growers I know.
Come and give it a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Re: Utopia
Just booked trip back for Febuary .. Can't wait!
I don't even need to worry about specific stuff being on the menu because everything you have has always been great!
Our plan is to pop down for the afternoon of 11th Feb for a good old afternoon session!
Nel - anything specific you want bringing from the UK .. i see tea-bags tend to be the order of the day
