Hey you got Brandon League atleast.

Man can you imagine King Felix, Lincecum and now Pineda as your top 3 starters!? Playing 81 games at Safeco Field too! Wow that would be elite shit right there.

would be nice. we still dont have enough good bats though. we need one or 2 new quality EXPERIENCED bats and a left handed power bat. safeco as ya know is a pitchers park that only favors left handed power. was basically built around griffey, who was really the last good left handed power we had(pre 2000 griffey not 2009-2010 griffey)

I see what your saying Cantona. Hopefully Justin Smoak can develop. Im pretty high on Dustin Ackley too. I dont think he has to much power but he has potential in my opinion to be an All-Star one day.

You think Mariners management has any interest in Travis Snyder? Looks like the Jays are ready to give up on him?

you never know about the mariners front office. we lost 100 games last year and their responce was to lower payroll. we have only dove headfirst into the free agent market a few times..most notably in 2004 when we signed beltre 5 years 64 mill and sexon for 4 years 50 mill. didn't work out well but hopefully they try it again. there is some good pitching and power this year. i'd be happy if we even made a 100-125mill offer to fielder even if he rejected it...would show we are atleast serious. after what he pulled in milwaukee a few weeks ago saying he wouldn't resign in the midst of their pennant race...not sure i'd want him anyeay. also alot of people dont know that sabathia has the option to opt out of his contract this season. mariners wont get him but would be cool to see him sign with his hometown giants.

yea man ackley and smoak could develope, but if we want to make the playoffs we need to sign established hitters. smoak could end up a legitimate left handed power threat but i dont see that happening for 2-3 seasons. ackley could be a player similar to jeff kent maybe with less power. i got a feeling this guy will be a career .280-.295 20-25hr and 80 rbi guy.

Hey Cattales,

Did Colby Rasmus always look like he didnt care or even wanna be on the field when he was in St. Louis?

Thats the impression i have been getting since he came to Toronto.

Yep always cause for celebration when the Yankees go down!

Both NLDS games last night were pretty epic.

Personally i cant root for the Tigers so lets see those Rangers back in the Fall Classic.

Brewers and Cards should be great too. Rooting for the Brewers but i could go either way.

Would love to see those two lineups (Brewers and Rangers) going at it in the World Series.

booo rangers. as a mariners fan i can never root for them. i dont think they have enough pitching to win it all this year anyway. :D
