I believe De Graal does a jam session most saturday nights, and I'm fairly sure they have a drum kit.
Thanks for the info! I found a video and it looks really great.

You're welcome! I don't want to hijack this thread too much, but if you do get to De Graal, try the Kashmir charras if it's in stock. Lovely.

Back to Siberie... is there anything on their menu that they're particularly known for? I'll be staying near there when I'm in A'dam in October, and I'll definitely check it out. I'm sure the general quality of their menu is good, but if there's something extra special, I'd hate to miss it :)

LOVE LOVE did you hear me I LOVE Siberie!

Very mellow vibe - laid back. Having birthday party here this week.

Reggae on the stereo, nice, clean, modern, updated. very very cool lady bud tender who is helpful and gave us several tasty options to choose from. Nice nice shop and very laid back. Great area, a favorite with us in our neighborhood!
Great hangout place to chill and smoke some tasty herb like the cheese - we like it here and I think it is my fave so far for appearance and helpful. Friendly, welcoming, nice laid back shop and good place to meet up with friends!

Two thumbs up A+ shop for the ambiance - we DIG IT!!!

Siberie has become one of my favourite shops in Amsterdam. Lovely relaxed vibe, nice people, plenty of room, and great smoke at very affordable prices. I spent the majority of my last trip here. Wanted to buy the LA Confidential x Lavender I'd bought and loved on two previous trips, but they had run out. The budtender recommended the Amnesia Haze - it looked lovely, but it's available all over my hometown, so I decided to go for Fantasia (Amnesia x Lavender) instead. Lovely smoke, with intense head and body effects, and a really strange fragrant smell (closer to Lavender than Amnesia Haze). The next day I came back and decided to try the Amnesia after inspecting and smelling it again - and it was a good choice; highly potent, almost psychedelic herb! Also got a gram of Mighty Whitey (White Widow) which surprised me with its quality and strength. This trip reassured me that even "boring" strains can be highly enjoyable if grown and cured well.

Spacefunk you make a compelling argument. I just might have to add Siberie to my "new shops to try" list for my next visit...

I've been to Siberië on every trip to A'dam for over a quarter of a century. God, I'm old. And I don't think I've ever tried the weed, just the hash, which has been consistently good, for the most part.

The only ice I ever tried was from here a while back, and for me it failed the diminishing returns test – you know, when you think yes, it's better than the cheaper stuff, but by what sort of margin? However, the charras didn't, and that's what I got this time. Not disappointed.

My cappuccino was on the house – don't know if it was because I bought 5g (slightly over, actually) at 16€, or because they were out of the orange juice I originally asked for, or because the budtender saw in my eyes that I'd just escaped from a mad Dutch violent drinker girlfriend in the back of beyond (and as it was Sunday, that had meant two buses and two trains). Whatever it was, that first smoke for days, lacing the indifferent cheese from Central with their extraordinary charras, was very much appreciated.

Was here on my last trip.

Was with a friend and we shared 1gram of L.ACon x Lavender .
And booy was it GOOOODD . One of the strongest dam herbs ive had.
Quit a catch for the lil amount of money we paid for it. Cant remember but it was cheap

The coffeeshop was pretty empty , and other people noticed the smell of our joint.
They immediatly bought 5 grams of it haha .

There was a pretty women behind counter with a chihuahua .
I bought a cappucino , and soon after she offered my buddy a drink on the house .
she said "You cant smoke LALavender without drink , itll kill you"

I recall 2 trips back going here and trying a pure Lavender joint when noting the fairly decent price (€8 a g I think), my first ever pure I think. Seemed a normal smoke at the time if a little strong due to being pure. But fuckin hell as soon as I left the place and the clear air hit me I was totally out of it for what seemed hours, but more like just the hour. Walked for fucking miles having a strange out of body kind of experience walking here there any every bloody where in circles not being able to get to where I wanted to. I can laugh about it now but kind of freaked me out at the time lol.

First time here for me this trip. I really liked the atmosphere- there seemed to be a good crowd of locals over there. The menu seemed very reasonably priced. I will definitely come back.

The Fantasia (Amnesia X Lavender) was lovely. The Power Plant was bio and nicely grown and cured. Bubblegum was also good.
