From Grey Area I've had:

Grey Haze
Cannelope Haze
Rocklock
LA Confidential
ReCon
Sharksbreath
Grey Mist Crystals

All were some of the best strains I've smoked in the Dam. The cheery Brit behind the counter rules too. They really need a bigger shop though.

Sat by the window, which was wide open, for about 2 hours on my own. Laughing at peoples faces in the street when they saw a couple of lads bonging it up on the pavement (sidewalk) in full view . Trippy Dub/Ska music too. I must have had 1 coke in all that time, and smoked about 2g. Man was i fucking tonked or what!? :?

Yes i like this shop

Hi guys...

I came back from amsterdam after three months and I have to say that

this is the best shop in the city.

The weed is really the best in A' dam, and the two dealers ( Jon and Martin ) are booth the coolest...they were always very nice and helpfull..

if you like something particular you have only to ask and they will help you for sure...there are fantastic vibrations inside Greyarea, found a seat is difficult but it' s a must in my opinion staying there smoking a joint with other nice people.
There is always someone alone or who want to talk about everything, I met very nice and interesting people....
So I hope to came back as soon as possible 8)

What a nice guy! Called in, cold and fed up. Already had my own gear, but ordered a coffee. Skinned up, had my smoke and ordered another coffee - which was GRATIS! Pretty cool if you ask me, positive vibe, positive people - all that you want from a coffeeshop.
Don't let the b@stards grind you down!

buddy wrote:I agree with scooberu. Heard great things about grey area and figured I had to go. Wasn't very impressed with the weed. Maybe I made the wrong choice. The guy also short changed me. He made good when I confronted him. Could have been an honest mistake. He did seem very stoned. With all the great reviews I guess I'll try again but my first impression wasn't good.
Ditto, right down to the short change experience — but I'll give it another go cuz I hear such great things about it.

But for now I'm voting NO

awesome shop, awesome weed. ended up pretty much sampling the whole menu at this place - had the martian mean green - very crystalized buds and very STRONG smoke bud a lil harsh. the greyberry was really really nice - smooth and fruity.
they had a new menu the second time we stopped by which had a new strain called Chocolope - advertised to taste like candy - so i got a gram of that - they werent lying - unbelievably sweet tasting weed, top smoke. also got yellow cab - nice oldskool smoke, very smooth.... Recon - which my mate said was great but finished it all before i got a puff!! got a gram of the crystals which i thought were a lot smoother than my last trip.... woah i did get a lot here... the Matanuska Tundra was probably the strongest indica i had in Dam, very nice smoke aswell. It was nice and quiet the two times we stopped by and the budtender is really genuine and helpful. Great shop!
I miss that place so much.

This is by far the best Coffeeshop in Amsterdam. I went in Jan 07 had the best weed available. I tried the Chocolope, Annunski, C13, Grey Haze and Grey Berry and these were of fantastic quality.

Went to this shop twice this past summer. First time the service wasn't great, though i tried the golden soles hash and was pleased. Second time i went there they were incredibly kind, he recommended the cannalope (i think it was called), it was amazing i felt like i was floating through amsterdam and couldnt stop laughing.
