Are the old school strains here (Jack Herrer, AK47, WW and NL) good examples of the strains?
The price seems really good and it's close to where I'm staying so these seem ideal.

Well I have only seen the Northern Lights and the Ak47 both were nice, maybe not quite how they used to be back in the day but they are very good. If I were on a very tight budget when in Amsterdam I would probably be smoking a lot of these four strains from Green Place. They also make a good joint mixer for hash at a fantastic price.

I visited it in March last year specifically to get Jack Herrer, which I'd never tried before. So nothing to compare it to, but I thought it was a good smoke, and value for money.

Brilliant thanks for the info, I'm not on a budget per se but I would like to try the old school strains having never done so before, might as well save a few euros and time by getting them from green place!

speaking about the shoreline, i went in a on the 10 of may at opening for a smoke and coffee, talking to the bud tender (asian fellow with long hair) as we looked at the shoreline and he admitted that there we 3 batches in the container at the time, and it was obvious, you could see the differnce in the bud

Bouth 2g of Twizzla hash (13eur/g) which I considered my second best hash in 2012 (just lost to Finger Hash - Paradox). This time it was a little bit heavier then last year, but still a very consistent and powerful hash. Flavor is also good (which doesnt happen all the time it hashes) and smelling amazing. Rate 8,5/10
Also bought a spetacular indica weed, this one was a heavyweight punch on the head, I couldnt even smoke the joint till the end (alone, not with friends, just my wife who does 2 puffs and is fine hehehe). I must say it was dry (the batch has a few weeks already, the bud tender confirm me this (not the one without hair, the other..) 01gram Ghost Rider (13eur) / Rate: 9,5/10
About the service: it was great with the blond guy, he was very honest to me saying the batches are around 3 weeks old and the guy without hair is a little cold but nothing more then this, doing his job.
The place: I am fan of Green Place. It was playing Hip Hop music and all kind of people passes there, underground till trendy hehe. The seats close the window are fantastic and the inside is a little darker, really cool as well.

I have been coming to this coffeeshop around once a week for the past 3 months to get some shoreline & alien technology and have from time-to-time thought that the bags might be under-weight. Was in here yesterday and was served by the indian looking budtender. When I was looking at the menu the BT was picking through some bud. I ordered a gram of shoreline and I watched the BT put a bud into a bag, put it on the scales (and then possibly press something on the scales) and then put it down beside the scales right before he weighed out my gram. A friend also got a gram of shoreline from Green Place about 20 minutes after me and was served by the kid with the backwards hat, his gram does look bigger. Decided not to say anything at the time as I can't be sure that he did take a bit out of my bag as I don't have any scales, but I'm definitely not going to be coming here again for a while.

I'm not having a go at anyone in particular here but it seems like a few people have problems or suspicions with one or two of the bud tenders in this place but every time it's the same old " I'll keep an eye out next time" or " won't be coming back". I just can't for the life of me understand why people aren't doing something about it?
If you think you're being ripped off say / do something. Ask the BT to re weigh it or just tell them you have seen what they are trying to do. If it's one certain BT I'm sure the other BT's working there will not be very happy to hear it. Making feeble excuses and leaving the problem for the next guy is unproductive and is tarnishing the reputation of what is otherwise a very worthwhile coffeeshop in my opinion.
Man up...
p.s. the Twizla is usually duh bomb and I will be heading over for a few 5g bags on my trip in July!
p.p.s hey Smokin´Brazil I'm enjoying your short, concise reviews and pictures thanks for taking the time man.
