Many budtenders who short you, do this on purpose ... a bit here, a bit there, it adds up over a shift. he'll get his 2-3 grams for himself.

just reporting what friends who are budtenders tell me.

Agreed. Next time in Amsterdam I have a mind to take a low key but obviously 'tourist' group and my pocket scales.

Then we can have a thread where the worst offenders are named and shamed publicly. I'm sure Greenplace wouldn't be the only coffee shop that 'shorts' customers.

It's a shame this is happening as I really liked this coffeeshop! I was here in June but was never served by an Asian kid (really sound black guy served me). The weights looked ok and I sent home a g of untouched Twizzla, and it was full weight. I'm back over in 5 weeks so ill be on guard for this guy and will definitely say if I think I'm being ripped off! I won't be rude but just ask to see it on the scale, which I'm sure I'm perfectly entitled to ask! Will report back here any dodgy business i encounter from any coffeeshop as I hate being short!

Regardless, I just like stirring the pot so to speak...

That said, you would be surprised how many gas stations / pumps don't measure to the exact as advertised....maybe you should start taking a measuring cup when you fuel up

End of the day, you let your wallet speak, and hopefully they listen.

Ps...for the record, their are few places you can buy a pint for 3 bucks, they are generally 6-10 dollars or more in the tourist areas of most cities...just saying.

So I popped into Green Place today. Was served by the young asian BT, he was very friendly, happy for me to take a picture of the menu, show me a couple of the bud tubs. I can't comment on the weight as I couldn't see a read out for the scales and I don't have any pocket scales with me.

best smoke of my last trip come from here... the Pink Kush (16€/g) was outstanding...
huge buds really nice grown... that´s my favorite kind of weed... it has exactly the taste
I liked so much... and so fucking smooth to smoke. I can´t get enough of this!!!

The Dealer was not so friendly but he said the right important things to me. I asked for
outstanding weed at the moment... and he showed me the Pink Kush (16€/g), Silver Bubble and
Northern Lights (7€/g) and all were just great.

between the jack herrer and the NL, which do you prefer? which one is drier? most potent?

Not sure which I think is more potent, both well dried, Northern Lights maybe more so but I have had it a couple of days longer so couldn't swear to it.

As for favourite, hard to say as I have them for different reasons. Northern Lights is just for a smoke before bed, nice body stone, helps get to sleep. Jack Herer is Sativa dom (still a bit of body I found) so I just smoke that during the day, nice taste I found, good high. Probably prefer the Jack Herer if I had to choose.

Shoreline was the tastiest smoke of the trip the high was a little to hazy for my liking but a strong high. Caramello was average.

Myself and the Mrs do not smoke in coffee shops so just use to purchase for private consumption, our experience with TGP was a friendly place that didn't rush our choice, or look down at my limited knowledge, budtender very friendly and (imo) a nice selection of weed/hash at fair prices

OG Lemon was the most lemony smelling green I had smelled all trip, and the blueberry cheese kicked my ass also 2 of the best tasting brownies to date

Will be my first destination when next in the Dam

Tried the Jack Herer last week from the green place. It was lovely, so strong... 2 hits on the bong and it comes on strong from there.
Will defiantly get my Jack Herer from here again.
Not sure about the weight, i notice the scales aren't that much on show so its easy to short you

Am I the only person who, when worried about the budtender's honesty, buys individual grams rather than a larger amount on the ground that it's harder to tell by sight if it's bit short if you're buying 5g, say? Most of us aren't going to whip out scales to check on the spot.

If I'm worried I ask to let me check the scale.I had doubts about the weight 2 times here and asked to checK: 0.86g 1st time, 0.93g 2nd time. didn't give up with the purchase, Simply asked to integrate the gram and they did
