Just thought I'd take a moment to wish all you ACDer's a merry xmas and to thank you all for the support that this forum has given us this year.

It has really made a big difference to us and we really do appreciate the feedback and the overwhelmingly positive response that our efforts have received.

I really hope that we will continue to justify your support going into the new year, when I can promise, among other things, the imminent return of the Champagne Haze as well as a very nice Silver Bubble.

I'm going to get back to work now. If you are in town, we will be open every day and I hope we'll get to say hello.

Happy Holidays

Classy 8)

I'll be making a T&T here during 420 week. Is there a way to reserve that nice front table by the window?

Visited last night and back here this morning. Motivation, Chocolope & A-2 haze sampled. All lovely smokes but Motivation & Chocolope did it for me. Totally un-motivated after the motivation :D & chocolope lovely morning smoke. Now sipping a laté and tryin the Fire Ice #1, great taste & smells just like orange furniture polish

My first visit was on christmas day at about 4 during shift change-over and the staff were really nice. I love the art and the way the seating has been cleverly designed. I also like the mixed age-group of the clientele with lots of friendly and vocal banter.

Sadly, on my subsequent visit on boxing-day evening, the atmposphere had changed with younger customers seemingly out of the their box to the extent that conversation was non-existent, not helped by a budtender who seemed more than content to let a Bob Marley CD run its course.

I think that the place is wonderful and would, in my opinion, be improved greatly by a budtender that had a passion for music and a more hands on approach generally.

Hmm, well I was working on boxing day evening and, unless I've started having blackouts, I can safely say that I've never played a Bob Marley album- either in part or in entirety- while working in a coffeeshop.

I can only guess that you are talking about Thursday evening when the owner was working, regrettably that seems more likely.

I have said on this thread before that the owner of the business is from the hotel trade and thus not necessarily best when it comes to the coffeeshop side of things.
We try to ensure that he does not have to be behind the bar but occasionally that is not possible- especially at this time of year when we all want to have a bit of time off.

Now that we can be certain of continuing into the new year without the weed pass, we will be looking to add to our team and I hope you will see some new friendly faces behind the bar in the coming months and less of the boss's dire musical choices. You should consider yourself lucky btw, others from the forum will testify to him playing justin bieber on repeat!
