maybe im wrong (again) but i thought it was the law to have the scale visible to the buyer,, im not in the mood to look this up though:Padge247 wrote:So I popped into Green Place today. Was served by the young asian BT, he was very friendly, happy for me to take a picture of the menu, show me a couple of the bud tubs. I can't comment on the weight as I couldn't see a read out for the scales and I don't have any pocket scales with me.
Anyway here is a picture of the Northern Lights

Next time I go here I'll be asking to see the scales. This makes me think about the Bluebird with the pre weighed they have.

preweighted doesn't necessarily mean underweighted. bluebird deals always looked honest to me, but if you think it's underweighted it's your right to ask to see the weight and if they do not want it's your right to leave tooJuice wrote:Next time I go here I'll be asking to see the scales. Made a few purchases from Bluebird on my last trip which went straight in the post home. Decided to weigh them out of interest rather than distrust and all 4 bags were on or .07 over. Not tried the weed in the last few trips but the hash always satisfies. OTTA was a great cream and set me up well for a walk round the zoo and the blueberry muffins were very, very tasty.Colino wrote:preweighted doesn't necessarily mean underweighted. bluebird deals always looked honest to me, but if you think it's underweighted it's your right to ask to see the weight and if they do not want it's your right to leave tooJuice wrote:Next time I go here I'll be asking to see the scales. 1st off; the Twizzla and Caramello were absolutely superb as were the Silver Bubble and Shoreline!
Secondly, for the 1st time I tried the four 5 gram specials: Northern Lights, WW, Jack Herer and AK47. None were spectacular although for the price (35 euro) they were reasonable.
Thirdly, I was vary wary after numerous reports of under selling in this shop. Over the 4 days I spent in Amsterdam I encountered the Asian and Moroccan (?) BT's. Now, if you're very sneaky and inconspicuous you can position yourself as such that the scales digital readout is visible under the counter via the mirror behind
. I am very pleased to say that I saw 1.0 come up every time. Again, I'm not dismissing anyone's reports but They have always been fine with me.
I like this place a lot and, for the first time ever, I went and chilled in the smoking room at the back. No idea why I had never been back there before.
So for me still a great shop. Especially if you're a football and / or hip hop fan as it seems to be all they have on the tv or stereo.

Re: Green Place
It is possible the scale is already off by 0.3g meaning adding only 0.7g to the scale makes it read 1.0...allowing the BT to avoid anyone calling him out for an underweight serving.Roo-Vee-Bo wrote:1st off; the Twizzla and Caramello were absolutely superb as were the Silver Bubble and Shoreline!

Love to be a fly on the wall when the BT shorts USBL by 0.3g. Can someone video it?

Re: Green Place
Asian BT rolled me once. No second chance here. Perhaps because the shop is busy the owner turns a blind eye or just doesn't give a toss. If it was a shop outside the Centrum or mainly locals using it, the BT would either have been sacked or lynched by now. More fool us for putting up with it. As to value, the lightweight 5g of Nepal @7e/g was far inferior to a full 5g deal of Afghan from Anyday @4e/g. Stuff 'em.

Re: Green Place
Packages arrived from Dam. I'd bought a 5 gram bag of Twizla and Caramello and both weighed spot on. Well, the Caramello was 4.92 and the Twizla is 5.04 so yes my purchases are down a whopping 0.04.
Maybe they are more generous with their hash ?

It seems to be one BT selling short when he thinks he can get away with it. It depends who you get.Roo-Vee-Bo wrote:Packages arrived from Dam.
