Club Media's Amnesia Haze


So, of course I had to try the Amnesia Haze (9.25 e/g), which looked and smelled beautiful in the tub (I wouldn't have bought it otherwise, I don't love Amensia Haze *that* much.)

This version had a much more herbal aroma to accompany the floral haze perfume. Notes of sage, oregano, rosemary and pine candy. Really not much fruit smell or flavor at all. Mouth tingling, full sweet haze and herb flavor. Strong body effects. Balanced pleasant high. 9/10.

Sorry, I've had a ton going on and haven't had time to finish yet- the whole run-down, with new pictures will be up either tonight or tomorrow morning.

View from the front of our apartment. I love the Oud-West district, and will totally stay there again. Great local shops (1e Hulp, Hugo de Groot, Boerenjongens), nice atmosphere.

Unfortunately I don’t have pictures of my last two purchases. (Sorry. I was too busy having fun. Also, too high.)

After we stored our suitcases in the lockers at the train station we headed straight to Voyagers. It’s so close, you’re even at the right end of the station- it’s a must-stop. I wanted to get one last gram of something before we settled into our last afternoon at Basjoe’s.

Highly Blessed was working, and it was nice to meet him for the first time. I asked for his recommendation (looking for nicely grown and cured and fun or different). he recommended the Dr. Griphspoon, and he showed me a jar with the beautiful delicate buds. For only 13.50e/g this is the best-priced of the “100% sativa” weeds that I’ve seen in the ‘dam. This was a really nice sample, with buds that were both softer and more resinous than the previous similar buds I had smoked (Amnesia’s Quasar and Grey Area’s 100% Sativa, which I’ve shown below.)

It had a light herbal smell, oregano and mint. The inhale was mentholated and the exhale “tastes like an Italian restaurant” according to DrJ. Oregano, mint, salt, and a bit of garlic on the exhale. Light sting in the lungs. It packed a strong elevated effervescent high, with no hint of paranoia. Really distinctive pleasant high that cut through quite a bit of morning smoking. Fun and Different. 9.2/10

very very nice report and some beautiful buds i also tired some 100% sativa from hunters was very strong high but was not very tastey or enjoyable but very racey high which some people love, personally i loved your amnesia haze haha or your amnesia haze or maybe your amnesia haze the og18 and alcocogold id prefer ummm nice work love

It's a beautiful day here.

Yay! I will have time to get back to posting about pot later today. In the meanwhile, here's one of my neighborhood dairy cows:



It has been a seriously beautiful spring here. And, even better, I'm on the verge of booking our next trip to Amsterdam! Yay!

Despite the fact that it was after 1pm, I didn’t get the sense that Basjoe’s had been open long when we walked inside. James was just sitting down with some sort of tasty looking savory pastry and his younger assistant was behind the bar. James started to get up, but I stopped him with a squeeze on the shoulder. “No, sit, enjoy your lunch.”

I asked them what they’d recommend, reminding James that I’d had, and loved, the Bas Special, the OG Kush, and the Amnesia Haze. The young guy pulled open the drawer full of goodies as James jumped up with a smile. “She will like the AK 47.”


Basjoe’s AK 47 (August 2009)

James shoved a beautiful big bag of sparkly weed under my nose. (Yes, yes she will. Does. Like the AK47.)

“Oooh! Yes! I’ll take a few grams of that, two spa red, and in awhile, after you’ve finished your food, two cappuccinos.” (That is this monkey’s version of heaven.)

The AK 47 was perfectly cured, the best I’ve ever had of this strain. It smelled of celery, fennel, and grapefruit. It tasted like grapefruit and fennel on the inhale with a slightly greasy licorice flavor on the exhale. The effect is an elevating present high along with a cool body stone. This buzz also had a light silvery visual component that I found particularly pleasant. One of my top 5 smokes on a trip full of great weed. 9.8/10.
