gotta to agree with you dan, I've always liked basjoes but went in twice this trip and he was a miserable cunt both times, saw him sell some bloke a bag of basjoe special that was worse than shake for 13e.DanFromUk wrote:Basjoes is shite in my opinion.

just not that helpful towards me.

I disagree. I had the proper attitude, was friendly and in a good mood. I'm all about being polite, and saying please and thank you and making a good impression when I travel. I never want anyone to think of me as the "ugly American". I was excited to be in Basjoe after reading so many great things here. James made me feel like I was a bother, continuing to clean and do his thing behind the counter, leaving me standing there feeling awkward after I made eye contact and smiled at him and asked for a menu. When he finally got around to me to see what I wanted, he wasn't friendly at all. That, combined with the plain shop made it not stand out in a positive way for me at all. Had the Bas Special, which wasn't very.TwoCanucks wrote:The next time you're in Basjoe, think of James like a mirror into your soul when you place your order. He gives as he receives... as for the lad... never met him.
Sorry you have had bad experiences... hopefully there's a chance in the future for it to change your mind... if not, you'll find a shop that agrees with you... that's all anyone can hope for.ZBeebs wrote:What you're saying is that if you don't like Basjoe, it's got to be your fault. What you're saying is that if you don't like Basjoe, it's got to be your fault. Not fair.
totally agree danDanFromUk wrote:They have lost my custom for ever.
Feeling like your not wanted in here is more than enough to make you not want to go back.
