I'm on smoking holiday, and anything I have to rent and mind, much less puts my ass in the urban ballet that is Amsterdam wheel traffic, is not for me. Have enough challenge staying out of said transit lijns and remaining healthy and upright.
But I'm working on it...

No doubt putting ones ass in the "urban ballet" (nice one btw..

) even when sober is an adventure, that's why I walk or ride the tram most times.
However, my plans for this 4/20 (oh oh, stoner plan alert) that involve the use of two wheels will find me outside most of the hustle and bustle in Mokum.
You said to me earlier that one or two of my plans has potential, which leads me to paraphrase the above...

Anyone know how long Paul usually takes to respond to enquiries these days?
A year or two back I emailed him and he got back to me that day (dates not available), but I've now emailed him twice since last Friday and not heard a peep back. Bit frustrating as I'm not sure if my email has been vanished by a spam filter or something or he's just not responding

He usually responds within hours, but I've had those instances where it gets hung up somewhere, and you don't receive a response. Maybe try another e-mail address on your end, or call him and explain.
Have you checked your spam folder?
He doesn't like losing business (who does?), so keep trying.

Thanks dude, yup nothing in spam. Yeah I remember last time he was really prompt, and its the same email addy but I guess the intertubes may be playing up
If I don't hear from him today I'll try from another address or by phone, cheers.
Edit - got through with the different email, guess the issue might have been my end

I have stayed in 1 of Paul's apartments before. It was apartment B back in 2011. I would not have recommended it to any body. If you are over 5 foot 9" you would never have been able to stand up straight once you got up the stairs. Very limited for height. I am not surprised that 1 is no longer available.
I would stay in 1 of his other apartments as he isn't the most expensive and is trustworthy having stayed in 1 of his before.
I am looking into booking up for apartment H1 around Christmas. Has anybody stayed in that 1 recently? Would you recommend it?
Thanks

Thanks Matty, I think we are looking into getting that 1 a couple of weeks before christmas. It was the balcony that attracted me most as it looks like a great place to have a smoke

That's because I took over the lease and am busy redecorating it into my Mokum penthouse retreat.
Just kidding. No, really - that's not good at all.

I have it on very good authority that H1 is now the property of Axe Cop.

He took the place for several reasons.
- such close proximity to the A'dam Top Cop Shop, damn near across the straat.
- he wants to verify reports about Sockerang look-alike, Balou.
- the terrace is perfect for launching Night Missions.
- Axe Cop secretly digs HQC (high quality cannabis) and loves to bubble up whilst viewing busy Marnixstraat from the Matty223 Memorial Terrace.
