...well, it's now one calendar month since 4:20:06 so it's also 11 months from 4:20:07... the countdown continues.

Whilst counting down I'm also going to be busy today enjoying my birthday.

I'm 36 today and happy to tell the world, well the forum is as a good a starting place as any.

I was born on this fine day in 1970 in my mum and dad's bed (mum chose a home birth) in thier top floor flat in Romford, Essex UK.... and yes, aside to all the Essex jokes... (give me your best shot) I'm damn proud of who and where I came from.

I've had lots of cards (some with money to go towards my new coffee machine - thats the one I like the look of - going shopping up-town with the wife tommorrow) and a few coffee orientated pressies... Latte spoons, Esspesso cups and some sugar clusters on stick for stiring your coffee... was thinking of turning my kitchen/diner into my very own Amnesia style coffee shop... told the wife and she smiled and siad OK, what more of an incentive is that...

I have 6 friends (3 couples) coming over tonight for a BBQ, a few beers, some fine herb and a good old fashioned "Ding-Dong"... the nieghbours have been informed, let the partying begin

not toked a single thing all day. Just back from taking my boys to see Mission Imp 3 at the cinema... picking up some freshness at 6:30pm... friends arrive from 7:30pm... beers are suitably chilled in the budwieser branded fridge which was also one of my presents.

A ding-dong is a slang British term for party although I thought that the birthday boy, being from London, would have said knees-up as is the Cockney way.

Anyway, all that aside, have a great birthday Rez my man, sounds like you're going to have quite a party there. Hope the weather stays fine for your barbie.

I must say that once you start buying the "real" coffee for your machine, you will never go back to the granulated instant stuff. The difference in taste is quite staggering I have found.
