I thought it would be nice to see some photos of the places we all live.
Post 'em if you got 'em.
I'll go 1st. Downtown San Diego seen from across the bay. I live a few miles south closer to Mexico.

first one is a great shot of the grand canyon, taken by a friend of mine who is pro-photographer (let me know if anyone in the SW US needs a badass photog

)
then this is a generic "skyline" pic of Phoenix AZ....notice that "brown cloud" it's really there not an effect or something...and we choose to live here WTF??!?!?

I used to live in San Diego. I miss it. I can't seem to get any pictures of my hometown to load up right now.

That photo doesn't seem to be showing but I do like the GC one above it. I bet there's a few scores been settled there.

** Edited **
I've edited this page to only use my pics from
my Flickr page ...

FIRSTLY, set up an account with a host, I've used
Flickr (other members recommendations)
This is pretty much what I PM'd to Doog...
When viewing yor picture on the Flickr site, directly above the image you'll see a list of buttons, one of which is "all sizes".
When you click this you'll be taken to another screen with different sizes of your picture. I've used medium (207x500) in my posts.
When you chose your size, scroll down and at the bottom of the page you'll see "To link to this photo on other websites you can either":
1. Copy and paste this HTML into your webpage:
2. Grab the photo's URL:
Under option 2 is a web address which ends with .jpg... copy and paste THIS web address in-between the of your forum post.
Regards,
Rez

Hey great photos everyone. It's a beautiful world isn't it.
FYI: I am using
www.photobucket.com (it's free) which creates a image address for you. All you have to do is upload your pics, copy the img location the site creates for you, click the img button here at ACD "post a reply" then select img again to end the link.
Thanks to the member who suggested photobucket. Sorry I forgot who told me about it, I guess you can figure out why.

This is a night shot of Melbourne, Australia which is technically my hometown (I was born there) even though I do not live there anymore.
The only thing British about me is my passport.

Some nice looking places for sure. I guess I call 2 places home right now 1) Bournemouth is where I go to uni and likely to stay when I finish 2) About 200 miles along the coast in Kent is where I was born and have family live.
I call both 'home' but here is a picture of Bournemouth, you can just see the university building(s) at the top right of the photo (still searching for a pic of my little town in Kent, but just imagine a much smaller Bournemouth and you have it)

Yup, time to wipe the dust off this topic and display some photos of where I actually live these days. These are at the request of Den.
A shot of the main town in my area
A little closer to home
Pub interior 1
Pub interior 2
Another pub shot
Seemed like a good idea at the time

yeeeaah. see how our 'brown cloud' is even thicker than San Diego's!? Yikes...Phoenix is pretty dirty. You have to dust like 3 times a day here. Gross.
