Can somebody please tell me where around central i can get this tram that will take me to ARTIS PARK

Every transportation map you could want. You want to look at the Metro ( subway ) and Combino ( trams ) maps. For trams, I think 9 or 14 would get you there, but check the maps.

Outside Centraal Station there are tram stops to the left and right

As you face Damrak, the ones on the left go southeast. ( you'll probably want one of these ) The trams on the right go southwest toward Leidesplein and Overtoom. Each platform has a sign showing what tram will be there and when.

These are cool maps, move the square over the area you want to see, click and it zooms in.

@stuart why the hell are you showing the dam square an not cs as asked?

Because tram 14 comes into town and circles Dam square, it doesn't go near cs.

i gathered central being central dam if its cental coffeeshop then FBN advice is good

I didn't know that abnormality of tram 14!
That is why I like this forum so much, you never stop learning.

Like central - central dam, coffeshop central or central station all of these can be meant...

From Centraal Station, tram 9 travels southeast to Artis.

From Dam Square tram 14 travels east to Artis.

9 = North South line

14 - East West line.
