Halo Reach

Got mine yesterday...pre ordered it and it came day early. pretty amazing game so far, and from the reviews its seems everyone is saying its the best in the Halo series. Anybody else gonna get it?

3 hrs in and wow totally amazing, 9/10 for me so far I'm sure that'll be a 10 once I start on multiplayer.
Dan, I dont know if you're joking or not (the smilie doesn't really give anything away) but my old man (76 years old) has heard of Reach.

Yeah loads:
DMR (replaces the Battle Rifle)
New shotgun, fires slightly slower
Grenade Launcher (awesome toy)
Machine Gun (like the turret but bigger/better)
Target Locator (locks onto vehicles for the ships above to shoot)
Plasma repeater (like the plasma rifle (which is still in it) but better)
Needle Rifle
Concussion rifle (awesome)
Plasma Launcher (fires plasma grenades)
Maybe 1 or 2 more, loads of new vehicles as well, you can even drive the forklift (useless but fun).
Edit: forgot the armour abilities, hologram (amazing bit like Total Recall), jetpack, active camo, sprint, drop shield and armour lock.

sounding good, I loved driving around in the warthog and the tank was cool so the idea of charging the covenant hordes in the forklift sounds interesting,
now I just need to convince the 'bank manager' that it's an essential purchase

I'm getting it for my sons 17th b'day next week...he's got all of the Halo series.so far...
Its sure getting some great reviews...

It's like Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3 and ODST all rolled into one and then put on steroids, Rocketfight (firefight with rocket launchers) is amazing.

I got mine from Tescos for £28 but I had to buy 2100 ms points at £16 ish as well but you know theres going to be some multiplayer maps sooner or later so the points will get used.

Yeah i heard of halo but not reach until i see a trailer for it.
Did look pretty good though.
Waitin for black ops too!! You gonna get the prestige edition with the car?
