Ok, so I'm a lazy git in not looking for it lol.

But to ask a simple question, how much would tram travel likely to cost a person for 4 days of travel round Amsterdam?.

A weekly season pass will be cheaper, it'll only be for the central zone but I doubt you'd go out of it anyway, €12.75.

Thanks for that guys. My original thought was (due to getting into photography) to walk everywere as I want to take a load of pics of where I visit. But looking round google street view it seems there are some great areas that warrant visiting that walking to would be impossable for the best part.

If you are comfortable on a bike, do that. You will see may more than on a tram and you can stop at any time to take photos.

That is a possable thought, but not smoking at home I'd be at high risk of having an accident or even forgetting where I'd put the bike with smoking during the day. But thats certainly still an option if all the photo taking is done in a single day for the best part of.

got a motorbike licence???

moped, boka hire, u dont need a helmet! only 35cc, enough for getting round!!! oh n u can go anywere a pushbike goes!!!
me n bro used one the last time we were in town!!! BEST way round by far!!!!

There are no passes for the trains just trams. You can use a Anonymous OV Chipcard to pay for your train journeys, it might save you a euro or two.

Is'nt there a bus going to haarlem ?

I think it only runs at night and on the weekends. But you have to get down to the Amsterdam Zuid Station somehow. It would be easier and cheaper to take the 15 minute ride from Centraal Station for € 3.70 one way or € 3.55 with the OV(R/T is € 7.10).
