Have any of you lot been stoned at the airport while checking in etc and if so did you encounter any problems?
On the ferry last year we waited until we'd boarded before we sparked up (both legs of the journey), this year we're flying and I'm obviously expecting things to be a bit less relaxed than the ferry port.
We don't fly back until mid afternoon so a lunchtime toke would be nice but not if they're gonna be snotty at check in.

Any advice would be appreciated

My advice is build yourself a nice fat joint and smoke it out the front of the airport (I do everytime), that way you'll be nice & relaxed.

If you don't wanna do it coz you're paranoid then just don't do it.

Personally I have only ever got stoned at the airport once, and that's because friends gave me a joint and I had no choice

Passport control and check-in staff don't give a shit. I've been stoned enough just on arrival at the airport and had no problems.

Cheers chaps, I was hoping it would be cool due to the regular "stoned" traffic going through but I didn't want to get the old rubber glove treatment

I like edibles before a flight.

im baked when i get there i smoke a joint right after i check in...then 3 or 4 space cakes

every time we go, we are mashed....

Space cake eaten just after check in. kicks in after security, and makes the flight a lovely blur.

once the flight was delayed after checking in, but having consumed the cake, we both got absolutly smashed and had to deal with security. piece of cake (excuse the pun), i was so obvioulsy high and usless at emptying my pockets (and holding the line up), but i didnt get any more special treatment form security than anyone else.

How about after arriving back in the UK...

I plan to get toally smashed before I get my flight home next week but have thought about the nick I'll be in when I land and go through customs..

Starting to get paranoid in thinking I'll be getting watched as I get in my car for the drive home

yet it will probably be 2 hours later, I'm sure the affects of 2 space cakes will still be with me

I have never arrived without being very, very stoned. Usually wearing a coffeeshop T-Shirt. Not to mention the hippy hairdo I sport

Also when do you actually see anyone at customs these days ? i aint for a long time , sure there are police etc scanning at the point of entry (passport control) then you walk passed them collect your bag and stroll passed no one at the customs point , job done

Never have probs with customs, its the West midlands Police after passport control that gives me a hard time. I just laugh it him and answer his questions truthly. Normally have you been in trouble with the Police before, been to any CS , smoked any weed, Got any on you, and a quick PNC check to make sure. TBH once he does the PNC he knows i am telling the truth although i did lie about not having any on me

Easy seen I have not flown for ten years eh, but I didn't realise we were open to such scrutiny as police background checks... I haven't been in bother since my teens but I hate the police and that comes out in my attitude towards them... I can foresee problems for me here
