I saw an advertisement tonight on TV (Eurosport) that gave this offer..... Send $10 and a "friends" mobile (cell) number and they would send you all the texts that they have on their phone....
What the fuck is going on in the world.
There isn't enough people getting a real real beating to show them the error of their ways....

As you said Mrs "cat" to "John" and from the link that "Boner" posted, they appear to be trying to justify this by pointing people in the direction of checking up on your kids, your spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend.... or any other person who has trusted you with their number .... or has, or gained, access to it.
But remember this cuts both ways.... nothing to stop bosses from snopping on you, if they are happy to use all means at their disposal. (Most of them in my experience   )
....this is were i'm going to look like a hypocritical prick.... knowing how you were treated "cat" by certain people at your last, 'Good riddence to bad rubbish', job ....my own ongoing experiences and i'm sure other "ACDer's" out there, i'd love a little more insight into the warped lives of people who, i'm sure, go home at night and 'play' with themselves thinking about how they've screwed people over during the course of their day.
.... that said, it could lead to the land of extreme paranoia and the emptying of your bank account trying to pay for the trail of information that i'm sure you'd find
