exchange rates

hi i live in glasgow goin to amsterdam in 10days wheres best to exchange cash will i get better rates if i wait untill i get there ? thanks

I often use InternationalCurrency Express. Really good rates and they will deliver to your door. Otherwise another good rate place is a Cash Generator shop. They will match any other shop and are usually less than a cent worse than ICE. Only use ICE on-line dont pop into the ones on the stations/airports. A few weeks ago I was getting 1.25/1.00 on-line yet they were only offering 1.12/1.00 on the stations.

I use the M and S in Braehead, one in Silverburn if thats closer

I find these buggers give the best rates without any hassle over the counter

I think it is more that the US dollar is weak right now. It only costs 0.97 cents CDN to buy a US dollar... that's crazy!!! In March 2009, it cost $1.29 CDN to buy a US dollar.

It's $1.27 CDN to buy a Euro right now!

Going to start buying couple hundred a day while the market goes like this... saving dollars already!

yeah did i say it wrong (sorry ) it cost me in America 1.3104 as of 3pm EST.

today dollar went a little higher thanks to Spain :D
