where did you eat ???

nobody talks about "real food" if you got an advice don't hesitate , i go tomorrow in dam and would appriciate some good joints to eat.
or any dutch specialitys !!!!
you all gonna be with me during this high hard sailin' moments

what is that stuff anyway - some of it looks like its been scrped from the street...hahaha
We ate in a couple of nice restaurants just off dam square. Cant remember the names tho sorry, but the food was real nice

I had a burger from FEBO and it wasn't bad. In fact at 2 in the morning and high as a kite it was quite good!
the only other restaraunts i remember eating at where a Italian place called Pisa and a "tex-mex" place, both just off the Leidsplein. I know one of them was on the street that the the Rockerij(sp) is on. And both were excellent and not very expensive.

If you get a chance to go to Haarlem (you should go even its just for the Willie Wortels c's) I'd recommend Wilma & Alberts - its a real good steakhouse its not cheap but its amazing!

i really appriciate the quickness of your responses. cheers a lot , was the last question for the preparing of the trip. my crew and i lift the hanchor at 4pm and we touch amsterdam harbour at 8.3Opm.be sure that i gonna do my best to carry back the more informations to share with ya !!
i will go in haarlem if i'm not glued on the grey area's seat!!!!!!

FEBO is the local dutch fast food shop
on the netherlands
and the food is more tasty then the shoarma shops in de leidsestraat

Where is this place in Haarlem?
Willie Wortel then Wilma & Alberts then Willie Wortel's again sounds like a great day trip.

Mostly I found little bars with limited dinner menu.
Three "real" restaurants stood out:
In De Waag
Kaiko
Thai Bird

casa di david - nice italian restaurant
oriental city - good chinese restuarant
cafe roux - great french restaurant... wonderful wines and desserts as well.

get the spare ribs from the Hotel Old quarter on the warmoestraat, absolutely fucking delicious.

Captain, if you are still there, you could do far, far worse than the haute cuisine on offer at De Poort Brasserie, NZ Voorburgwal.
Have one of their world-famous numbered steaks. I can't recommend it highly enough, and I am also of French stock, so
proper food is also to me very important
Their desserts are to die for, and if you tell them you are French, they treat you even better
Many French lcals eat in there.
