Could someone please tell me when the carnival is in dam square?......I know it's there twice a year...do they have a web sight where they have the dates listed????? Thanks far any help I could get.....

This years April Dam Square carnival is/was set up in the Waterlooplein due to the coronation.

Twice I answered your question... a site which provides dates for festivals. If you wanted something more specific, then you should have asked, Steve, or better yet, looked it up yourself in the first place. And if you did, goes without saying...
My first reply was neutral/friendly, the second time I used emoticons to add some humor... which you totally ignored.

Disclaimer: I'm somewhat under the influence of cannabis, so please bear with me... thank you.
I have thick skin, meaning I can take about as much verbal abuse as the next stoner, more or less, and when the word jerk is weighed against all the insults, it ranks fairly low, almost nondescript. However, the point isn't the level of offense, no, but that a person for whatever reason real or imagined was motivate to go there in the first place.

This is a perfect example of how to clear up the air... diamond steve responds in a neutral but friendly tone... nice.
Although I have nothing to be sorry for or anyone to apologize to, I do feel bad that a simple request for information got to this point...

I'm what some consider a local smart arse, or so I've been told... and with that, there are times where I add a little off-color humor...
...but when poked or provoked, especially when I've gone out of my way to aid, assist, or help, I rear my ugly ass up in the air... my head however is somewhere near ground level sucking O2 and searching for something to eat or smoke...
I like helping people, it's one of my personal traits, a character flaw to some... but when I think I've been given the ole backhand by someone, especially who has never met me or given me a fair opportunity to be known, well, I might not be the friendliest person.
In the end, I hope you found what you were seeking...
