vossius or nh tropen

I'm off to the dam on 3rd of march and wondered if any of you have any insight into these 2 hotels the nh tropen is £95 for 3 nights and hotel vossius is£111 any help would be great

hotel vossius is in the closer to centrum then the Nh hotel,, your are in the Leidseplien/vondelpark area,, ( grat area imo) jenjoy your trip

Stayed at the Tropen in 01-02 ...High rise cookie cutter hotel bordering the Oosterpark ,back then we smoked whatever we wanted in the rooms , thinking thats changed though. Some rooms have balconies , and the roof was accessible .Closest CS -Happy People ...a locals shop at the foot of the Dapperstraat Market. The 9 and 14 trams stop right across the street.The Tropen our favorite AMS museum . Not a bad neighborhood , but not the canal ring either . Back then though that hotel offered a rarity in AMS -free parking .
