hi guys wondering if anybody could help me out here looking to come back to dam and we are looking for the cheapest place to stay for 2 lads in a very central location. utopia would of been a good shout but we are wanting to go on a weekend and there is a minimum of 2 nights stay

A lot of hotels and hostels have the 2 night minimum stay rule at the weekend,try the meeting point hostel on warmostrrat number 14 only a couple of mins walk from the train station they charge 14 euros a night for a bed 18 euros at the weekend it's a nice clean hostel with a smokeroom plus you can smoke in the main bar area after one in the morning.

hotel cc on warmoerstraat or old nickel hotel, hostel ben which is next to utopia flying pig, voyagers, continental hotel, tourist inn - all cheap hotels
