Hi Guys,
I got my first grow running atm and some days ago my Seeds (Special Queen 1,Special Kush 1,White Whidow Auto,Royal Bluematic) showed their heads out of the germination Soil.
In Cervantes GrowVideo he said start with 2 Feet distance, which i did,its 65 cm now.
But i have no Idea how quick i can move the Plants up to the Lamp without burning them.
When i have them in too big distance they will rise to high in search of the light thats bad too.
Is there any Thumbrule X CM Plant Height = Y Cm Lamp Distance??
BTW i use a 250 High Press. Sodium,so the normal distance to lamp for grown plants would be 25cm or???

If they are doing fine under 65cm, then give a few days of 60 then see how they like that, if okay lower to 55, and rinse and repeat. The key from my understanding is to lower slightly a set nd see how respond, that is your indicator as to how fast you can lower it.
Now whats better for those super early days of germination when they just broke ground and getting their 1st/2nd/3rd im not sure of either. T5 far less intense, and can be placed closer to little ones. Is that better than something with more PAR but further away so that intensity fades from distance.

I would look to have the Radiant temperature, which is the temperature from direct light exposure (thermometer at plant height under the light), at around 26.5c. Once your plants grow a little, form a few sets of true leaves and you would say they are no longer seedlings, I would then look to be looking to get a ambient air temperature of around 26.5, which would be best measured by having your thermometer at plant height but out of direct light. Air flow is important!

Question Temperature:
In my little Growbox i have taped a normal oldstyle glass-tube Thermometer with its Head in the distance you said, and the scale says something like 26-27 celsius. The Scale goes up to 360 Degrees so its a bit hard too see.
A Ventilator is blowing into the Growbox too.

redefine as a question and you may get an answer.
light
medium
food
extraction
intake
carbon filter
negative pressure
airflow

various things happened and i killed them. time and height were against me i would have said. something smaller with a shorter flowering period starting about last this week might suit my balcony better

At Royal Queen Seeds they have a Chatwindow where you can ask a guy called Rene Growing-Questions.
He answered in 2 Seconds and said 50 cm.
I guess he knows about his Seeds so i use his advice 50 cm.
Tomorow the Plants are 1 Week old,the Skunk-Crossings are like 10cm now with 2 leaves like 2cm big.Is that ok or too less ??
The real Leaves are like 20 degrees pointing upwards (not the ends, the whole leaf),but the germination leaves are curled downwards. Is that any bad Sign??
Remember they are grown from seeds which showed their Heads on 1 this Month, not from cuttings

They are in High-Grade (1 Euro /Liter) Germination Soil which contains Perlite (i even added a bit more) and Agrosil Rooting helper.
I enchanced the Soil with Hesi Rooting Complex,Hesi Power Zyme and Hesi Super Fit 1x till now, tomorow they get the second Dosage (Hesi Says from Vegetation Week 1 its good to use 1-2 x Week)
