We normally do a 420 boat ride during the weeks events/sessions at some point, what does everybody thinks about one this year and preference on boat and time/day etc, so lets get a head count going and maybe go from there.

We have the usual suspects of the www.smokeboat.com and www.buddhaloungeboat.com last year we were booked onto the Buddhalounge boat but ended up sailing on a Bulldog Boat due to a ship breakage. There is also the idea of chartering our own boat and assigning a captain to navigate the canals

What are everyone's thoughts personally I am easy on sailing on any day during the week and at anytime as long as it doesn't clash with any Special Sessions and events that might be going on.

This sounds great but would probably rule out a night trip and can you self drive a boat that has a roof?
As for a Captain - I nominate MJ, Stan or Nuggs - as they may know the canals.
I preferred having the boat trip following 420 as in 2024 - but I will go with the flow

Sunday the 19th or Tuesday the 21st would be good as most are in town those days. Really enjoyed the Smoke boat back in 2024 when we had the entire boat except the 4 people in back. Unfortunately the hookah couldn't be used for {nautical reasons?}.Plan on two spots for Queen Charilotta and I along with a little extra for Gapies tour guide service. 82 days and counting.

Im pretty easy on dates for the boat, once it doesnt clash with any other meets as Ghost mentioned. Best dates could well be 19th and 21st, as Docgonzo42 said its when most people will be in town.

On the boat front, Ive never been on the buddhalounge boat, just the smokeboat which is always fun. In 2018 or 2019 I think we went on a private boat with a driver. I certainly wont be volunteering to man any boat perhaps we have braver people among us? Filling the entre smokeboat would be pretty epic, maybe we should dream big

Happy to captain a boat if needed. Problem is I think the biggest boat is for 12 people.

Let's fill the SmokeBoat full of smoke.
Let the pros drive the boat while we drink and smoke.

We will hopefully have more than 12 and as Trad said maybe best to leave it to the professionals

Almost Feb, before you know we will be shuttling up and down canals, living the dream

Agree with Trad let's let the pros cover the sailing and we can smoke and drink for the ride

Thanks for the start of this new 20th anniversary journey where we are all coming together to celebrate US as much as the thrill of the ACD world.

I want to start it rolling on my side by taking over the smoke boat arrangements. I will be renting the entire boat regardless of how many spots we have. Most of the boats already have 2 spots sold so Ill look into it Once we pick a date Ill get it all arranged .
Lets try 420 eve cruise the Night of 19th.

If we fill it that's great; if not I don't expect you to spend one dollar more than you ever have for this experience.

So the spots already claimed are in stone and Ill continue this discussion here.

I have emailed the smoke boat people for a private boat availability on the eve of the 19th. Ill let everyone know what I know when I know.
