Kif is resin glands (trichomes) separated from the rest of the plant by sifting through a fine mesh screen. Left as a powder or granular material it's called kif. It can also be squeezed into a solid form then it's called hash.

The Ice-olator hashes are similar, but they are made with an ice water extraction process that apparently recovers more trichomes from the plant material, so they're a good way to get product from low quality plant material.

ingo is correct..

basically the crystals that are knocked off the bud and collected... most of the time they are left as a powder, or pressed into puck form..

they are normally beige in color.

also u may be more familiar if i describe it this way.. if you have an electric grinder.. the crystals that build up in the corners and things is basically kif...

I have a Space Case Pollinator and it is the 2nd. best investment re smoking I have made in over 40 years of smoking the wonderful herb, my Volcano, FatFreddy being the first.
I sprinkled a liberal amount I had collect for over a month into a couple of joints and brought them to a bar I go to to listen to blues jam.
Smoked some in the parking lot with some of the musicians and either really messed up, or vastly improved their playing, depending on which one you talked to later.
Was an interesting experience,and am being asked constantly when I am going to bring some more.

A grinder is a great investment. I have a knockoff brand (not a SpaceCase),
but it has a collector. I never owned one until I joined this forum. Now I don't think I could go without. The kif is my backup when my stash is getting lean. Check your local headshop or eBay.

I recently bought a grinder that has a kif screen. I'm hoping to be able to collect enough to make a small amount of homemade nederskuff with a small hash press.
