"Historical" Hasj in the Dam

...39 days and counting till the wife and I arrive and, since I've been thumbing through the Lawrence Cherniak 'Great Books of Hash' I was curious as to any 'historically significant' hashes that are currently available in the Dam. I know I'll be trying the Rifman, Temple Ball at WW & Stix but I was wondering if there were any artisan or unusual hasj about. I remember smoking a Chinese Pollen once, Turkish at De Overkant and seeing some menus with a purple hasj on it - anybody try it?
Also, the recent Afgaani hash menu items look quite good. I used to be an exclusive black hasj smoker and a couple of trips ago I discovered blonds and have been reluctant to smoke the cheaper priced Afgaans due to assumed poor quality & contaminants?
Thanks for the help!
