Growshops....
Someone once told me that the best weed they ever got in Amsterdam was from a grow shop where they got chatting with the owner, purchased some seeds, and got 2gs of perfectly grown/cured skunk. Anyone had similar experiences?

Same thing -- talked to the fellow at DNA Genetics for at least a half-hour about growing; Grey Area was out of Chocolope at the time, so he pulled out his own stash and vaped me up two bags. He offered more. He also offered to smoke me out on hash for as long as I wanted. Later, he asked if I had tried LA Confidential (I haven't). He actually tried calling John at Grey Area, to have him pull some of the LA Con out from behind the counter, because he knew John had some stashed! John didn't answer, but the effort was too cool.
I bought 13 Chocolope seeds, by the way -- E90, but you're paying for the tops in genetics.

Yes, Chocolope is a.k.a. D-Line.
It's tall and very branchy. DNA suggests fewer plants and more space for each. Drop some and you'll see why.
It's 95-percent sativa, yet flowers in 63-70 days, which is some staggering genetic work. The OG Choc Thai would require far longer, produce less, etc., as GeoffK suggested.
I was toking in the 1970s, when the OG Choc Thai was bountiful in California, and Chocolope retains the flavor characteristics.

you could still use it outdoors....this strain needs to be spread and kept in my opinioncourtjester wrote:Yes, Chocolope is a.k.a. D-Line.
