I'll be back in 'Dam on Monday, has anyone heard any rumours about what's being put up for this years' cup?

Anything new appeared in the last couple of months I ought to try?

I find it interesting that Grey Area is using the trademark of Big Buddha's Cheese. This strain won in last years cup, and the discussion was which shop would get the official "trademark". I haven't tried this strain, but I've heard (Big Buddha is from the UK) that this was developed from clones kept from "original" UK cheese. I read that in an article from Redeye magazine. Also GA is carrying Kiwi Seeds Mako Haze which was a winner as well. This strain has been recently reviewed by SG. I'd keep my eyes on the travelogues and see what pops up around the shops. I'm speaking strictly about strains and not the coffeeshop cup, as we all know that is a load of crap. However, it would stand to reason coffeeshops that might vie for that award would keep a lot of previous strain winners in stock. GA has some kind of bubble that's seems to be a favorite of a lot of people recently.

are there cup strains in almost every shop or do only a few sell the cup strains? thinking about a 1-day-trip to pick up a few strains

any participating coffeeshop will have at least 1 herb or hash entered into the cup.

alot of the seed company entries you wont get to try. only celebrity guests

The list of coffeeshops entered into this years Cannabis Cup has not been released yet. Without a Cannabis Cup laminate (pass) you will not be allowed to buy the entries at many of the entered coffeeshops until after the cup.

Bit of a rip off imo, aren't they about 200quid.

I would want the weed to leave me comatose for that money.

Last year during cup time I was able to buy the strains in both Barney's and GA, plus John at GA gave me a pass to his party and Barney's was almost one constant party giving out free vapo bags of G13 Haze.

I LOVE going during cup time... doesn't bother me one bit. It's cheaper than most times of the year, and I get almost all the benefits of a judge without having to pay for it. I was even going to get a boat ride last year from Barney's with the judges but passed.

I don't have IG's charm,,,but I am gonna share some of my Cup samples with her (and USBonglord) when we hook up for a meet...Floridians gotta stand together until we can't stand up anymore.

for you ppl whom dont wanna buy the pass here a little trick you can do
go down to where you get pass maps and all on the day they give out pass and ask ppl in line if they can get you a booket and map of all CS runnig at the CC

then you can go in the CS and buy whatever most place dont ask you for the neck pass port

if they ask you tell them you lost it

it work for me at the 17th CC me and my NYC friend payed 1/2 for pass he got me a map and booket only thing we wasnt able to be at milky or expos togeter!!
