Got back from Amsterdam yesterday after spending new year there.

One of my favourite places to spend a new years eve.

The Niewmarkt lived up to its new year reputation for fireworks and festivities. The only worry all night was being hit by hand launched fireworks which compaired to most uk towns makes it a much safer place to celebrate. Such a friendly mixture of people from stoned tourtists to local families.

We weren't as impressed by the weed this visit but that's over shadowed by the fun we had.

If you plan on going to Amsterdam on new year...make sure you head away from the tourist congested Dam square and get up to the Niewmarkt for the locals personal firework displays.

not a bad smoke between the 4 of us over a week.

Yeah we did not do too bad!

Could have smoked more but we got sick of stomping round shops only to find more pollinated shizzle weed.

Barneys has some nice tasting weed..try Love potion #1 (great mild daytime high for my girlfriend) Lavender was nice as was the caramello. I won't buy any ice weeds off them as its made of stuff they rob in the first place with a pollinator.

Cafe media is really cheap for drinks and weed plus they have a really nice pool table..organic wed tastes better but might not look as good or have the same bulk as hydro. We we visited it was full of dutch locals who were very friendly. The dealer helped me identify a really tasty sativa called te jed or something??? Was very sticky and has all the heads on the trics and was obviously soil grown with bio ferts ( I know the diff ) Think NYC but with a sweeter taste and a 1.4 bag for €11 made 3 fat joints.

Make sure you pop over to katsu it's a 2 min walk up the road and is a good place to smoke and watch the world go by...try some SAGE..super skunk looked real (as verifed by teh guy in sensi seed bank as I showed it him) but lacked the potentcy and taste that we all know and love. the weed must be good as a guy passed out and twated his head on the table, but I thought it wa srude to ask what he was smoking as I wanted some.

Get down to the tweedkamer/de damkring for some super tabizla pollen (not riffmans but super sticky) Riffmans was better last year I thought.

Really enjoyed recon from the grey area..had a great taste and a stronger high than love potion.

Nevilles haze from the De damkring was very strong and battered a couple of freinds who to meet up with us for a few days. It left them staggering around laughing and feeling very scared as I took them through that really small alley in the redlight. The strongest Bud I smoked all holiday but ran out really quick as I could not get anymore.

Homegrown fantasy has the best staff who will chat for hours if they not too stoned...get some white pearl or sage n sour. We also saw a very big whitey where a 20 year old guy went outside and told his friend he was having a heart attack. His freind came inside and bothe the staff went to his aid. His friend by this time was calling an ambulance even though the member of staff had told him that it was because he was too stoned and nothing to do with his heart. The ambulance came and laughed at him handed him a €500 fine and drove off..so dont call an ambulance if your on a white one. Drink some sugary drinks and sit somewhere quite with a good friend....I promise it will pass

Oh and another bit of advice..dont eat weed if your not a big smoker

If you dont like smoking call over to the Cannabis college and ask if you can you his vapourizers (its the medical way of smoking)..he will give you a little talk then your free to toke away as long as you have some buds..however if you call in a week or 2 they will be harvesting a really nice skunk #1 plant/big bush they have..so u might get a free toke
