rabbits?
I have a few plants outside and they are about 2-3 inches tall and today I noticed all of them but one had the top of the plant bit off and left the top half on the ground. One question is what the hell would do that? The other is if I leave them in the ground could they recover from this? I'm a newbie at this and it's really frustrating. Thanks in advance.

many an out door creature will nibble on your plants for a quick trip, rabbits, deer and others,
Protect your plants while young, use 2litre bottle with the neck cut of and cover your plants with these will give them a chance.
If you can grow your plants a little larger then plant out later in the year will also help, there are other things you can try leaving human hair around your perimiter soap also.

Human urine will also scare animals or make them think twice about entering your grow areas.
Either piss in areas around your grows or collect your piss in a container and pour it on the ground around your crops.
Note: If you grow indoors or on your balcony, this does not go over well with your housemates or neighbors.

Thanks for the tips. I brought the lone survivor inside and will take it back out when it gets bigger. LOL, the wife asked what was in the cup and I told her "my pot plant". She just smiled and rolled her eyes and said "we better not have a major operation going in a couple years".

I once had a crop of 12 plants hidden in a wood - cows escaped broke down the fence and what wasn't trampled was proper eaten. Gutted. Never trust them cows, no good will come of it.Sir Niall of Essex-sire wrote:If you have large animals like deer or cows eating your grow, you need to find a new spot.
