I have this bong, £35 bucks from a headshop up town.

Hits nicely and the glass is thick, I have banged mine against the sink on numerous occasions and it hasn't damaged it at all.

I do have my eye on a couple other nice bongs, but I refuse to pay silly money.

Sir Niall - That site is a good site, been there before... I want one which is as close to a ROOR's craftmanship as possible - but having looked on the site I think £75.00 for a ROOR bong blue 500 is just about affordable - Not parting with any cash yet though, I want more advice... if i can get something similar for a better price would be awesome...

Twitchaldinho - That is a piece of work mate... Nice looker, how she handle?

Like a bong!
Ive smoked from a Roor, as I have smoked from many other types of bongs.
I don't buy into the Hype, sorry

As long as its glass and durable, thats all I require.

Jeez - Now that's what I'm talking about... Real feckin' advice!

Thanks for that brutally honest statement Twitchaldinho - You ROCK mate... So, in your educated opinion, what's my best bet? I wanna go glass - not acrylic, but what should I be looking for?

Just educate me here T... :D

You want Glass on glass, which I think means every part of the bong is glass, the Bowl, downstem, the lot.
You also want the glass to be thick, thats the thing with Roors, to get anything thick, you have to spend big £££'s.

Surely there are some good headshops in The big smoke which have a good selection of bongs, go in and have a nosey, you may find just what you want.

Looking forward to it, however, if it cost alot of money, I'll probably just chuckle, then hit my £35 number till I become incoherent.
Peace.

And now I present Beetle-Juice made by Good Times Glass West Coast Syndicate, purchased in Burlington, Vermont at Good Times Glass East, this is my new bong, it has a 7 perculated inline diffusion system with a single normal style perc on the tube and a splash guard as well, both perculator and splash guard are topped with a design and it is also an ice-catcher which is very enjoyable with nice milked hits!

Nice bong Rasa :!:

For that price, I could go to Amsterdam, Buy a gram of East Coast Sour Diesel from Grey Area, and smoke it up in one of thier bongs free of charge.
Or
I could buy an ounce of fine herb from my friend, smoke it all in my £35 pound bong, then spend the leftover cash on a deep pan pizza :!:

But it is a nice piece of glass, you should be proud.

I figure that if the bong enhances your smoking experience, which mine certainly does especially with the Perculation then why not not get it, if your smoking a lot of herb you mine as well have at least one beautiful piece of glass to smoke with, I have alot more glass though, ill post some more pics tonight/tomorrow of my other gear.
